Mathematical model of nonstationary hydraulic processes in gas centrifuge cascade for separation of multicomponent isotope mixtures

    Get PDF
The article presents results of development of a mathematical model of nonstationary hydraulic processes in gas centrifuge cascade for separation of multicomponent isotope mixtures. This model was used for the calculation parameters of gas centrifuge cascade for separation of silicon isotopes. Comparison of obtained values with results of other authors revealed that developed mathematical model is adequate to describe nonstationary hydraulic processes in gas centrifuge cascades for separation of multicomponent isotope mixtures

Modeling of filling gas centrifuge cascade for nickel isotope separation by feed flow input to different stages

    Get PDF
The article presents results of research filling gas centrifuge cascade by process gas fed into different stages. The modeling of filling cascade was done for nickel isotope separation. Analysis of the research results shows that nickel isotope concentrations of light and heavy fraction flows after filling cascade depend on feed stage number

This article presents results of development of the mathematical model of nonstationary separation processes occurring in gas centrifuge cascades for separation of multicomponent isotope mixtures. This model was used for the calculation parameters of gas centrifuge cascade for separation of germanium isotopes. Comparison of obtained values with results of other authors revealed that developed mathematical model is adequate to describe nonstationary separation processes in gas centrifuge cascades for separation of multicomponent isotope mixtures

Dynamics of UF[6] Desublimation with the Influence of Tank Geometry for Various Coolant Temperature

    Get PDF
Mathematical model of UF[6] desublimation in a vertical immersion tank is presented in the article. Results of calculations of the filling dynamics of the tanks with 1m3 volume at various coolant temperatures, with and without ellipticity of the end walls are given. It is shown that allowance for the ellipticity of the end walls of the tanks leads to a significant increase in the time of desublimation of UF[6]

Program for calculating the technological and structural characteristics of plate and packed distillation columns for separating two, multicomponent mixtures and isotopes

    Get PDF
The article describes the developed and software implemented methods for calculating the technological and structural characteristics of plated and packed distillation columns for separating two-component, multicomponent and isotopic mixtures. The results of the verification of the methods are presented. A good convergence of the calculation results with the known literature data is shown

Influence of changing feed flow value on germanium isotope separation in gas centrifuge cascade

    Get PDF
Modeling of a nonstationary process caused by changing the cascade feed flow value using germanium isotope separation as an example. During a nonstationary process, the concentrations of isotopes with intermediary mass number in light and heavy fraction flows may cross the range limits restricted by the initial and final stationary values and exceed the maximum reachable values for a three-flow cascade. Time for stationary isotope concentrations to settle is different for isotopes and depends on the final values of cascade flow
