Okre艣lono sk艂ad gatunkowy grzyb贸w zasiedlaj膮cych pora偶one p臋dy wrzosu, ja艂owca 艂uskowatego i r贸偶anecznika. Zbadano chorobotw贸rczo艣膰 Cylindrocladium scoparium dla 3 gatunk贸w ro艣lin oraz rozw贸j zgnilizny tkanek w zale偶no艣ci od temperatury. Z pora偶onych tkanek podstawy p臋d贸w wyizolowano kilkana艣cie gatunk贸w grzyb贸w, w艣r贸d kt贸rych dominowa艂y C. scoparium, Alternaria alternata, Botrytis cinerea, Rhizoctonia solani, gatunki rodzaj贸w Fusarium i Trichoderma. C.The occurrence of fungi on diseased stem bases of heather, scaly - lift juniper and rhododendron, pathogenicity of Cylindrocladium scoparium toward 3 plant species and colonisation of plant tissues in relation to temperature were studied. From the diseased tissue of stem bases several fungal species were isolated with the domination of Cylindrocladium scoparium, Alternaria alternata, Botrytis cinerea, Rhizoctonia solani and Fusa艅um and Trichoderma spp. Cylindro- cladium scoparium colonised leaf blades and shoot parts of tested plants but necrosis developed faster on scale-lift juniper and rhododendron than on heather. Tissues of heather and rhododendrons were colonised at the temperature ranged from 10掳 to 32掳C with the optimum 25-27掳C

Phytophthora ramorum izolowano z ponad po艂owy ro艣lin fotinii, pieris贸w i wrzos贸w z objawami br膮zowienia i zamierania wierzcho艂k贸w p臋d贸w i nekrozy li艣ci, pobranych z 4 szk贸艂ek pojemnikowych. Obok tego patogena z pora偶onych tkanek izolowano r贸wnie偶 I', ci艂ricola, P. cactorum, Alternaria alternata, Botrytis cinerea, Fusarium avenaceum, Pestalotia sydowiana i Trichoderma spp. Izolaty P. ramorum z 3 gatunk贸w analizowanych ro艣lin oraz z r贸偶anecznika, kolonizowa艂y li艣cie i fragmenty p臋d贸w badanych ro艣lin. Nie stwierdzono r贸偶nic w chorobotw贸rczo艣ci izolat贸w w stosunku do poszczeg贸lnych gatunk贸w ro艣lin 偶ywicielskich. Wskazuje to, 偶e 藕r贸d艂em patogena mog艂a by膰 jedna ro艣lina 偶ywicielska.Phytophthora ramorum was isolated from more than 50% of fotinia, pieris and heather, taken from four container-grown nurseries, with symptoms of tip blight and leaf necrosis. Additionally P. citricola, P. cactorum, Alternaria alternata, Botrytis cinerea, Fusarium avenaceum, Pestalotia sydowiana and Trichoderma spp. were isolated from diseased parts of plants. Isolates of P. ramorum from 3 analysed plants and additionally from rhododendron colonised leaf blades and shoot parts of 4 tested plant species. There were no significant differences between pathogenicity of tested isolates toward plant species. It points to one host plant as the pathogen source

Phytophthora species as the causal agents of thuja [Thuja spp.] decay in Polish hardy ornamental nursery stocks

Phytophthora citricola was isolated from individual diseased shoots of Thuja orientalis 'Aurea Nana', T. occidentalis 'Smaragd' and rotting tips of T. plicata 'Zebrina'. P. cinnamomi, P. citricola and P. cryptogea were isolated from rotting stem bases of T. occidentalis 'Smaragd'. Shoot inoculation of 14 cultivars caused the colonization of tissues, but faster spread of necrosis was observed on yellow than other cultivars. P. cinnamomi was more aggressive to thuja than other isolated species
