In this research note, based on the published data, I provide materials on the ICT environment in Japan, and this situation is considered to be a prerequisite for school education reform. The materials presented in this note are created by collecting data via the Internet and processing them into charts using computer software. Materials on the acceptance of computers in society show home computer ownership and Internet terminal ownership. The material on the Internet connection environment mainly gives an overview of changes in the Internet environment at home. Finally, by clarifying the frequency of use of ICT-related terms in the explanation of the course of study, I created materials on the present condition of ICT in schools
