Factorization method for second order functional equations
We apply general difference calculus in order to obtain solutions to the
functional equations of the second order. We show that factorization method can
be successfully applied to the functional case. This method is equivariant
under the change of variables. Some examples of applications are presented.Comment: 22 pages, examples and new section added, several correction
Integrable Hamiltonian systems related to the Hilbert--Schmidt ideal
By application of the coinduction method as well as Magri method to the ideal
of real Hilbert-Schmidt operators we construct the hierarchies of integrable
Hamiltonian systems on the Banach Lie-Poisson spaces which consist of these
type of operators. We also discuss their algebraic and analytic properties as
well as solve them in dimensions N=2,3,4.Comment: 36 page
Banach Lie-Poisson spaces and reduction
The category of Banach Lie-Poisson spaces is introduced and studied. It is
shown that the category of W*-algebras can be considered as one of its
subcategories. Examples and applications of Banach Lie-Poisson spaces to
quantization and integration of Hamiltonian systems are given. The relationship
between classical and quantum reduction is discussed.Comment: 58 pages, to apear in Comm.Math.Phy
