Black hole/string ball production, possibly at LHC

I show a brief historical overview of recent developments on the black hole physics that can be possibly explored at LHC. I comment on the correspondence principle of black holes and strings and show its realization in a differential production cross section of a black hole/string ball with fixed angular momentum.Kin-ya Oda. We first review the current status of the top mass determination paying attention to the difference between the MS-bar and pole masses. Then we present our recent result on the bare Higgs mass at a very high ultraviolet cutoff scale.Yuta Hamada, Hikaru Kawai, Kin-ya Oda. Black holes at future colliders

We consider the production and decay of TeV sized black holes. After discussing evaluation of the production cross section of higher dimensional rotating black holes and black rings, the master equation for general spin-s fields confined on brane world is derived. For five-dimensional (Randall-Sundrum) black holes, we obtain analytic formulae for the greybody factors in low frequency expansion.Daisuke Ida, Kin-ya Oda, Seong Chan Park.
