According to the statistics reports for 2005-2008, a reliable reduction in the intensive indices of lambliasis incidence rate in the
Sverdlovsk region as well as tendency towards a reduction in opisthorchosis and enterobiasis incidence rate was revealed. An
examination of 262 patients in the clinics of FGU UrNIIDViI revealed that the incidence of helminthic and protozoal invasions in
psoriatic patients was 44.1% while the incidence of allergic dermatoses was 32.3%. Blastocysts, intestinal amoebas, seatworms
as well as opisthorchid flukes in case of psoriasis dominated in terms of incidence. High prevalence of seatworms in adolescent

CRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF SULFINAMIDES OF THE THIAZINE SERIES: FEATURES OF TRANSFERRING THE OPEN-CHAIN SUPRAMOLECULAR SYNTHON FROM THE RACEMIC TO HOMOCHIRAL ENVIRONMENT
Abstract: The crystal structures of four representatives of sulfinamides of the thiazine series are comparatively analyzed for the occurrence of different supramolecular associates, inter- and intramolecular interactions. With a similar molecular geometry, different packing motifs occur in the crystals yielding different-type supramolecular associates due to classical NβHβ―O hydrogen bonds. The features of transferring the sulfinamide open-chain supramolecular synthon from racemic to homochiral environment consisting in the appearance of βsecondary cross-linkingβ are studied
From classical to supramolecular dynamic stereochemistry: Double crystallization-induced diastereomerization of thiazine sulfonamide
The interrelation between the configurational lability of nitrogen and sulfur atoms within the βNHβSO2 group of some thiazine sulfonamides is discussed. We have found that the compounds of the above series can crystallize as various diastereomers by the nitrogen atom, the relative configuration of the nitrogen atom determining the relative supramolecular configuration of the newly formed chiral sulfur atom. The paper presents a stereochemical transformation, which we have called βdouble crystallization-induced diastereomerization.β
COMPARATIVE RESULTS OF LIVER TRANSPLANTATION IN PATIENTS WITH VIRAL CIRRHOSIS AND AUTOIMMUNE LIVER DISEASES AT A SINGLE CENTER
Russian Scientist Centre for Radiology and Surgical Technology has sufficient experience of orthotopic liver transplantation (100 OLT), which allowed comparing the outcomes of the terminal stages of liver disease in the two most numerous groups of patients: viral cirrhosis (VH) and autoimmune liver diseases (AILD). Despite the fact that patients with VH indicator of urgency performing OLT (MELD) lower, rate of deaths on the waiting list higher than AILD, due to more favorable course of immune disease. After OLT significant differences during the early and last posttransplant periods were not found, although the recurrences of viral hepatitis are recorded much more frequently than AILD. One-year and a three-year survival rates were comparable. To prevent reinfection of the hepatitis B successfully used nucleoside analogues (telbivudine), which allowed minimizing recurrence of the disease. Prevention and treatment of hepatitis C after the OLT is a relevant problem, despite the low efficiency of antiviral therapy. Relapses AILD not represent a real threat to the life of the patients, because the modification of immunosuppressive therapy can limit the progression of the disease

Abstract: The chiral type of crystallization of endo-isomers of 4-phenyl-3,5,8-trioxabicyclo[5.1.0]octane and 4-phenyl-3,5-dioxa-8-thiabicyclo[5.1.0]octane and the formation of racemic crystals by molecules corresponding exo-isomers are established. The relationship between the structural organization of molecules and the stereochemical type of intermolecular interactions and the formation of different types of crystals is analyzed. One of the promising objects of local homeostasis in the aspect of regulation of the state of the intercellular matrix should be considered mast cells (MS), which are almost ubiquitous in the body and form organ-specific populations. The frequent association of indicators of the number of MS with the intensity of fibrous changes in the corresponding organs suggested their active involvement in the extracellular stages of fibrillogenesis. The aim of the study was to develop and introduce into morphological practice methodological techniques that contribute to the study of the effects of MS in the formation of collagen fibers. Colored skin sections were studied using a ZEISS Axio Imager microscope.A2 with the system of photo documentation of images. When contrasting the nuclei with Mayer hematoxylin, the MS is well visualized in turquoise tones. The combination of toluidine blue staining with silver impregnation showed successful preservation of metachromatic staining of rat skin MS after the implementation of the Foot protocol. A suitable combination was the staining with toluidine blue and picrofuxin. The least suitable was the joint staining of the sections with toluidine blue and eosin. The use of neutral red as an independent reagent in the detection of MS is not convenient enough. The second example of doubly enantiophobic behavior during crystallization: a detailed crystallographic, thermochemical and spectroscopic study
Herein we have found a second example of doubly enantiophobic behavior during the crystallization ofrac-1-benzyl-3-chloro-4-[(4-chlorophenyl)sulfanyl]-5-hydroxy-1,5-dihydro-2H-pyrrol-2-one,i.e., the formation of two conglomerates with different crystal structures in the absence of any racemic compounds. In both polymorphic modifications, the main supramolecular motif is appeared to be a hydrogen-bonded chain or helix of different symmetry, which is related to an Ξ±-hydroxyamide chain synthon. Additional crosslinking of the homochiral chains in the crystals of both crystalline forms, which is realized through weak, noncovalent interactions, can be a probable reason for the reproducibility and stability of the Ξ±-hydroxyamide chain synthon and polymorphic diversity registered. It was shown that each of the conglomerates is thermodynamically stable in certain temperature ranges. For the first time, a binary phase diagram for the chiral system complicated by an enantiotropic phase transition is reconstructed based on experimental data, which is characterized by the presence of a thermodynamic stability permutation line between the two racemic conglomerates
Stereochemical Features of the Crystallization of Eight-Membered 1,5-Diazaheterocycles with Chiral Aminoindanole Fragments at Nitrogen Atoms

The work juxtaposes crystal structures of two hydrochlorides of eight-membered 1,5-diazaheterocycles with chiral aminoindanole fragments located at the nitrogen atoms and having similar configurations. In spite of chemical and stereochemical identity of a half of diazaheterocycle molecules, in crystals these compound are realized in the general position rather than the special position on the twofold axis of rotation. The following reasons are considered to be responsible for the asymmetrization of the molecules in the crystal: conformation of the eight-membered heterocycle, selective protonation of only one of two nitrogen atoms, positions of the counter-ion and the solvent molecule within the unit cell, and a nonequivalent system of hydrogen bonds
