N-Confused porphyrins: Complexation and1H NMR studies
© 2017 The Royal Society of Chemistry and the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique. The complexation of 2-aza-21-carba-tetraphenylporphyrin and 2-aza-2-methyl-5,10,15,20-tetraphenyl-21-carbaporphyrin with nickel and zinc acetates in organic solvents has been investigated by UV-Vis spectroscopy and 1 H NMR. It has been shown that the enhanced reactivity of these tetrapyrrolic macrocycles is mainly determined by their ability to exist in different tautomeric forms
Comprehensive Approach to Multi Comfort Urban Space Design in High-Density of Milan Development
Relevance of the research is conditioned by the necessity to search for a new model of urban planning formation of housing estates in the constrained conditions of already established cities. With the modern cities' expansion, investors, urban planners, architects and developers face a difficult task to develop urban areas that are in a dense ring of buildings and structures. Herein it should consider that large cities require multicomfortable apartment buildings, although they are in high-density areas. This paper represents the results of project work upon a social residential complex that meets the criteria of energy efficiency and multi-comfort in high-density development of the Crescenzago district (Milan, Italy). The project is based on the principles of eco-certification according to the BREEAM standard. As part of the project, to ensure the sustainable development of the territory under consideration, climatic, urban, social and cultural factors were analyzed; urban planning and architectural concepts of the site development, as well as constructive and engineering solutions for residential multi-apartment buildings have been created. The paper provides the author's design solution for a complex of residential buildings, organically integrated into the existing urban space development. This is a qualitatively new residential development format that meets all modern requirements for providing thermal, visual, acoustic comfort, safety standards, as well as the concept of sustainable development.. © 2020 IOP Publishing Ltd. Molecular recognition of nitrogen–containing bases by Zn[5,15-bis-(2,6-dodecyloxyphenyl)]porphyrin
© 2016 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.By means of spectrophotometric titration and 1H NMR spectroscopy, the selective binding ability of the Zn-5,15-bis-(2,6-dodecyloxyphenyl)porphyrin towards nitrogen containing organic molecules of various nature has been studied. It has been found that the presence of long alkoxy substituents at the ortho-positions of the Zn-porphyrin phenyl rings prevents the axial coordination of tertiary amines and, conversely, creates favourable conditions for binding of a primary diamine due to the presence of additional binding sites, namely the oxygen atoms of the ortho–ortho′- dodecyloxy substituents of the meso phenyl groups. The formation of stable complexes with multiple binding sites has been confirmed by DFT quantum chemical calculations and two-dimensional NMR experiments

Medium viscosity effect on fluorescent properties of Sn(IV)-tetra(4-sulfonatophenyl)porphyrin complexes in buffer solutions
© 2019 Elsevier B.V. Supramolecular triads consisting of hydrophilic Sn(IV)-tetra(4-sulfophenyl)-porphyrin and two axial guests such as propylphenol, tyrosine, and 2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-benzoxazole were synthesized. The structures of synthesized complexes were identified by experimental spectroscopic and quantum-chemical simulation methods, and their fluorescent properties were studied in various viscosity media (mixed phosphate buffer-glycerin solvents of different composition). The effect of axial ligand structure on the fluorescent properties of these triads (due to the hydrogen bonding or π-π stacking between the components of «host-guest» systems) is discussed. The potential use of synthesized complexes as environmental probes of local viscosity is proposed
Modern Tendencies in Design of Public Spaces in term of Sustainable Development
The Flight of Fantasy is a multifunctional complex located on the territory of perspective development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The project was designed for the International Student Competition "MultiComfort House Students Contest" hold by Saint-Gobain ISOVER. The project was developed taking into account the standards of energy-efficient construction and sustainable development and meets all the requirements of the competition. This paper describes the main conceptual solutions adopted by the authors. Since Dubai has a tropical desert climate, it was necessary to protect all spaces from overheating in summer and to ensure the possibility of comfortable movement between apartments and public spaces. Also it was necessary to offer an optimal solution for residential spaces that meet all the needs of residents. The architectural concept should fit the modern trends of the city development and use innovative materials. © 2019 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd
