Computer Aids to Planning: The Budget and Forecasting Module

The purpose of this paper is to explore a middle ground approach to the process of modeling financial decisionmaking in the “real-world” environment. Existing models, from both academia and practitioners, are seen as limited in the range of application. The proposed approach seeks to address this issue directly by developing a method more reasonably suited to a broad range of organizational applications.
