Pengembangan Simulator untuk Menentukan Jarak Tempuh dan Arah Haluan Kapal Berbasis Peta Digital Web
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran simulator yang berkualitas baik. Media pembelajaran simulator berupa software digunakan untuk menentukan jarak dan arah haluan kapal yang di desain menyerupai alat navigasi ECDIS (Electronic Chart Display and Information System). Jenis penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (RdanD) dengan metode pengembangan menggunakan model Borg dan Gall (1983) yang dimodifikasi. Pengembangan media pembelajaran simulator terdiri atas 4 tahap yaitu 1) Studi Pendahuluan, 2) Tahap Desain, 3) Tahap Validasi dan Revisi, 4) Ujicoba dan Revisi, denagan subjek penelitian taruna diploma 3 jrurusan nautika. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh sebagai berikut:Â Hasil validasi media simulator mendapat skor minimal 3 untuk setiap aspek, validasi keakuratan perhitungan simulator dibandingkan dengan ECDIS didapatkan rata-rata eror dan presentase eror jarak tempuh adalah -0,06 dan 0,072%, rata-rata eror dan presentase eror arah haluan adalah 0,06 dan 0,16%. Kemampuan dosen menggunakan simulator mendapat skor minimal 3 untuk setiap aspek, aktivitas taruna sesuai dengan waktu ideal, banyak respon positif taruna 87,5%, Hasil belajar taruna lulus kompetensi sebanyak 26 dan tidak lulus kompetensi sebanyak 4, ketuntasan hasil belajar secara klasikal adalah 87%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media simulator berkualitas baik
ANTI-INFLAMMATORY ACTIVITY TEST OF LIME LEAF (CITRUS AURANTIIFOLIA) ETHANOL EXTRACT IN MALE MICE (MUS MUSCULUS) INDUCED CARRAGEENAN ON 2022
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak etanol daun jeruk nipis (Citrus aurantiifolia) sebagai antiinflamasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah udema buatan telapak kaki mencit putih jantan dengan induksi karagenan 1%. Pengujian aktivitas antiinflamasi ekstrak etanol daun jeruk nipis menggunakan 25 hewan uji, dengan 5 kelompok perlakuan. Kelompok terdiri atas kontrol positif yang diberikan na.diklofenak dengan dosis 6,5 mg/kgBB, kontrol negatif yang diberi perlakuan CMC Na 0,5%, dan 3 kelompok ekstrak yang dimana kelopok ektrak dosis 100 mg/kgBB, kelompok ekstrak dosis 200 mg/kgBB, dan kelompok ekstrak dosis 300 mg/kgBB. persen radang pada kelima kelompok uji mengalami penurunan secara terus menerus mulai dari menit ke-60 sampai menit ke-360 setelah induksi karagenan. persen radang terbesar terjadi pada menit ke-120 pada suspensi Na.cmc dan diikuti oleh 100 mg/kgBB, 200 mg/kgBB, 300 mg/kgBB dan Na.diklofenak. nilai persen inhibisi radang terbesar dimiliki oleh kelompok Na.diklofenak dan diikuti oleh 300 mg/kgBB, 200 mg/kgBB dan 100 mg/kgBB. Hal ini berarti, persen hambatan yang baik terdapat pada EEDJN 300 mg/kgBB setelah Na.diklofenak, kemudian diikuti EEDJN 200 dan 100 mg/kgBB dan hal ini menunjukan bahwa kelompok Na.diklofenak, 100, 200 dan 300 mg/kgBB memiliki potensi sebagai agen antiinflamasi sedangkan kelompok Na.Cmc tidak
ANTIDIABETIC ACTIVITY TEST OF ETHANOL EXTRACT BROCOLI (BRASSICA OLERACEA VAR. ITALICA) IN WHITE MALE RATS
Diabetes is a chronic disease characterized by excessive blood glucose levels caused by absolute and relative insulin deficiency. The stages in this study were sampling, identification of samples/plants, simplification, simplification screening, and preparation of extracts by maceration. The method used in the diabetes activity test uses a glucometer to induce alloxan in rats at a dose of 150 mg/kg body weight. The test animals were 25 rats which were divided into 5 treatment groups namely CMC Na 0.5% (negative control), glibenclamide (positive control) 0.45 mg/kg body weight and EEB dose 200 mg/kg body weight, 400 mg/kg body weight and 600. mg/kg body weight. kg B.W. kg body weight as a test material given orally. Measurement of blood glucose values ??according to Allox and on days 3, 5, and 7 after administration of the test substance, namely EEB. The test results data were analyzed statistically using one-way ANOVA at a 95% confidence level followed by Tukey's post hoc test. The results of the phytochemical screening showed that EEB contains alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and glycosides. The results of the diabetes efficacy test showed that EEB doses of 200, 400, and 600 mg/kg BW had an anti-diabetic effect on male white rats. The EEB dose of 600 mg/kg is the most effective. Post hoc Tukey test results showed that EEB doses of 200 mg/kg, 400 mg/kg, and 600 mg/kg were not significantly different from the positive control glibenclamide 0.45 mg/kg (p>0.05) and 200,400 ug. and 600 mg/kg BW were significantly different from the negative control CMC Na 0.5% (p<0.05)
Socialization of Rhodamine B Dye Content in Liptint Sold in Lubuk Pakam Which is Analyzed Using UV-Vis Spectrophotometry
Rhodamine B is a synthetic dye that is always used to color paper, textiles or ink. The use of rhodamine B is very unsafe for physical fitness and health. When applied without an agent in the body, Rhodamine B irritates the respiratory tract and can cause cancer and liver damage. Even though it has negative effects, this dye is still widely used by irresponsible individuals to make a profit, especially in food processing and cosmetics. Objective: This community service is carried out with the aim of educating the public about the dangers of rhodamine for our bodies, as well as finding out the Rhodamine B content in lipsticks distributed in Lubuk Pakam, where lipstick is one of the cosmetics most widely used by the public, especially women. Method: The method used is socialization by providing direct outreach to the community, especially to mothers and teenagers about the dyes in lip tint which refer to the research results. Qualitative analysis of rhodamine B was carried out using TLC with the mobile phases of ethyl acetate, methanol and ammonia (45 :25:30), while quantitative analysis was carried out in the determination using UV-VIS spectrophotometry at 545 nm. The strategy used in providing knowledge about the dangers of dyes in cosmetics is by giving direct lectures about the various kinds of dyes used in cosmetics, the potential dangers that will arise if cosmetics with excessive dyes are used along with the characteristics of cosmetics with dyes and It is hoped that the public can avoid cosmetics that are indicated to use dyes and get safe cosmetic solutions using natural dyes
TEST OF ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY FROM THE COMBINATION OF ETHANOL EXTRACT OF WARU (HIBUSCUSTILIACEUS L.) LEAVES AND LEAF RED PUCUK (SYZYGIUM OLEANA) AGAINST SALMONELLA THYPI ON 2021
The research in this paper aims to determine the effectiveness of immunostimulants from ethanol extract of coffee parasite leaves (Loranthus ferrugineus Roxb) with four variants of doses of 50mg / kgBB, 100mg / kgBB, 200mg / kgBB, 400mg / kgBB. This study used 18 male white rats with 200 gram BB which were divided into 6 treatment groups. Rats were injected with 0.1ml SDMS 1% for 7 consecutive days intraperitoneal, then on the 7th day each blood sample was taken through veins in the tail, CMC Na 0.5% suspension, and Levamisole suspension 50mg / kgBB as a positive control was administered orally on the 8th day. Then blood samples were collected in a micro tube and then 1900rpm was centrifuged at a temperature of 4oC for 10 minutes. The results of the study of ethanol extract of coffee parasite leaves proved effective as immunostimulants because they have a value close to positive control, starting from a dose of 200mg / kgBB to 400mg / kgBB
WORKSHOP OF TESTING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ANTIBACTERIAL EXTRACT OF SURUHAN (peperomia pellucida l. Kunth) LEAVES AGAINST staphylococcus epidermidis BACTERIA
Skin infections or dermatitis are included in the ten most common diseases in Indonesia, so the use of antibiotics is very high. The increasing use of antibiotics will cause an increase in the use of inappropriate antibiotics. The purpose of this research and community service was to find out the leaf extract of suruhan (Peperomia pellucida L. Kunth) with a variety of solvents providing anti-microbial activity against Staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria and conveying information to the public about the leaf extract that can be used as an acne medication. The results showed that the inhibition of ethanol extract and aquadest leaves of suruhan against the growth of Staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria at a concentration of 25 mg/mL clear zone 6.0 mm ethanol extract and 5.4 mm aquadest extract (Potentially Weak), concentration 50 mg/mL diameter of the extract inhibition zone ethanol 8.46 mm and aquadest extract 6.53 mm (medium potential), concentration 75 mg/mL diameter of inhibition zone 12.96 mm ethanol extract and 8.53 mm aquadest extract (strong potential). From the research data obtained, it is socialized to the public regarding the antibacterial activity of the leaves of suruhan against Staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria. The purpose of Community Service (PKM) is to provide information to the public that suruhan leaves can be used as an antibacterial to inhibit bacterial growth even with various types of solvent concentrations used. SEMINAR TENTANG PENGGUNAAN MINYAK LAVENDER (LAVANDULA ANGUSTIFOLIA) SEBAGAI AROMA TERAPI
Aromatherapy is an ancient healing process that uses pure aromatherapy plant extracts aimed at improving the health and well-being of the body, mind and spirit. Lavender contains linalil acetate and linalool. Linalil acetate and linalool have no harmful side effects on health. This substance is antibacterial, fungicidal, viriside, parasiticidal and vermifugal and has neurotonic and uterotonic action. This study aims to determine the effect of lavender oil (Lavandula angustifolia) aromatherapy candles on increasing the concentration of student learning at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Wasliyah Pasar Miring in Desa Pasar Miring . The study used a quasi-pretest-posttest experimental method for 30 randomly selected students. The instrument in this study used the Army Alpha Test with data analysis using Paired T-Test. Hypothesis testing using Paired T-Test showed p value = 0.026<0.05 (p <0.05). It can be concluded that there is an influence of lavender oil aromatherapy candles on increasing the concentration of student learning in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al- Wasliyah Pasar Miring in Desa Pasar Mirin

Medicinal plants that can boost the immune system are very much consumed by the public, especially during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Apart from plants, healthy food also has an important role in improving the immune system in this new normal era, one of which we must consume balanced nutritious foods such as staple foods, namely rice, corn, tubers and side dishes as well as vegetables and fruit. Fruits are a source of protein, minerals, fiber and vitamins. In addition, to face new changes requires careful preparation. Health quality is the main component to face the transition from the Covid-19 era to change for the better. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain the body's immune system which is the body's defense to ward off various diseases. The body's immune system can be improved by changing a bad lifestyle. Including physical exercise (sports). The purpose of Community Service (PKM) is to assist the local government in increasing public awareness to prevent and fight the Covid-19 virus in the form of utilizing nutritious plants that can increase the body's immune system and eat healthy food. The activity was carried out in the form of online discussions through whatsapp groups and meetings via zoom with the younger generation of Lubuk Pakam. From this activity, the younger generation has gained a good understanding of what to do in the new normal era, not only complying with health protocols, but also in regulating lifestyle and eating patterns
SKRINING FITOKIMIA EKSTRAK ETANOL UMBI BAWANG MERAH (Allium cepa L.)
Bawang merah (Allium cepa L) diketahui banyak mengandung senyawa yang memiliki aktivitas farmakologi. Etanol merupakan pelarut yang bersifat universal yang mampu melarutkan senyawa polar dan non polar serta memiliki sifat netral, absorbsi baik, tidak beracun dan stabil sehingga dapat digunakan untuk ekstraksi umbi bawang merah. Skrining fitokimia dilakukan untuk mengetahui golongan senyawa yang terkandung dalam ekstrak umbi bawang merah. Penelitian ini menggunakan ekstraksi dengan metode maserasi selama 5 hari dan dilanjutkan dengan remaserasi selama 2 hari. Kemudian ekstrak yang didapat dilakukan skrining fitokimia. Hasil skrining fitokimia umbi bawang merah menggunakan pelarut etanol menunjukkan adanya kandungan senyawa flavonoid, tanin, saponin, alkaloid dan steroid/terpenoid
