    Investigations of some factors of personality structure of the professional staff in physical culture

    In the course of July, 1970, 92 participants of coach courses in basketball (21), judo (16), European handball (21) and soccer (33) were investigated. The aim of the study was o get an insight into the structure of the technical staff in physical culture by measuring somatic, health functional, and psychological variables, by means of questionnaire. In view of the very interesting data obtained, unfortunately, in too small groups, the investigation is being continued

    On the sample of 819 secondary school pupils of final classes. 17 to 19 years old, by, means of regression analysis the relations between latent dimensions of certain value attitudes and results in a scale of engagement in kinesiological activities were determined. The multiple correlation and correlation and regression coefficients were low and in general nonsignificant. Though the relations between certain single factors of value attitudes and between the whole system of those factors and engagement in kinesiological activities were significant, it was possible to conclude that the engagement in kinesiological activities practically does not depend upon analysed value attitudes. The kinesiological activities are essentially carried out in the educational institutions. As the value attitudes which were analysed in this work represent educational variables, the results are interpreted as the consequence of neglected educational work in such organisations

    Nakon završenog ispitivanja utjecaja aktivnog odmora u posebnoj radnoj pauzi u mehaničkoj radioni Željezare Sisak može se na temelju dobivenih rezultata zaključiti sljedeće: 1. Kritično vrijeme rada javlja se u šestom satu radnog tjedna, tj. nakon redovne polsatne pauze. 2. U periodu primjene eksperimenta uvođenje posebne pauze za aktivan odmor i smanjenje radnog dana za 10 minuta, nije dovelo do pada radnog učnika. 3. Ispitivanjem psihičkih doživljavanja aktivnog odmora doprinijeli zadovoljstvu radnika, podizanju emocionalnog stanja i smanjenu monotonije, te da su stavovi radnika potvrdili potrebu zadržavanja dvije radne pauze - jedne za jelo, a druge za aktivan odmor.The investigation is based on the establishment of the critical work time by the subjective estimation method on the graphic scale and the introduction of a special break of active rest in mechanical workshop of the Steelworkers Sisak. The new break lasted for 20 minutes, and instead of corrective-compensatory exercises accompanied by music, the recreational games chosen by workers themselves were applied. This resulted in the reduction of the meal time break to 200 minutes as well as its switching to one hour later. The data obtained indicate that the introduction of the enlarged rest time and of two breaks does not reduce effects in work. On the contrary, they offer a satisfaction to workers and reduce monothony and the difficulties caused by the fulfillment of work tasks at the criterial work time period - between the fifth and the sixth work-hour - when they manifest themselves most

    Issledovanie effektov 14-dnevnogo programirovannogo aktivnogootdyža gruppy rabočih himičeskoj promyščlennosti v Zagrebe

    Na temelju izvršenog ispitivanja efekata 14-dnevnog programiranog aktivnog odmora grupe radnika OKI-a, koji su upućeni na dodatni odmor u hotele "Verude" u Puli možemo zaključiti slijedeće: 1. Pozitivni efekti oporavka na razini značajnosti postignuti su u varijablama: - jakosti i izdržljivosti stiska šaka - jakosti i izdržljivosti fleksora podlaktica - maksimalnom ekspiracijskom i inspiracijskom tlaku - frekvenciji srčanog rad u mirovanju - fizičkom radnom kapacitetu pri frekvencije srca - 170 udaraca u minuti (PWC 170). Nisu utvrđene značajne razlike u varijablama sistoličkog i dijastoličkog krvnog tlaka te u hipohondričnosti ispitanika. 2. Ispitivanje stavova, miščljenja i interesa ispitanika prema uvjetima boravka i njegovim sadržajima pokazuje da su ispitanici: - zadovoljni sa uvjetom boravka, kvalitetom i kvantitetom hrane, a nešto manje smještajem - izjavili da im je boravak koristio zdravlju i da su se dpbro zabavljali provođenjem sadržaja boravka, te da oporavak radnika mora biti vezan uz lagane sadržaje aktivnosti uz vodstvo stručnjaka - pokazali najviše interesa između ostalih sadržaja prema: plivanju, malom golfu, kuglanju, izletima, vožnji na biciklu, nogometu, stolnom tenisu, bočanju, veslanju i kulganju u većoj kuglani - sudjelovali u programu aktivnosti jer su smatrali da im koristi zdravlju i pomaže u oporavku sa preko 90% odgovora. 3. Dobiveni rezultati ispitivanja potvrđuju prednost programiranog aktivnog odmora u toku 14 dnevnog razdoblja u centrima za oporavak radnika jer pridonose povećanju funkcionalnih sposobnosti organizma i pružaju zadovoljstvo i osjećaj ugodnosti, te lišavaju čovjeka monotonije i dosade uslijed neaktovnosti.The problem of additional annual rests and the programmed active rests within the framework of annual holidays and paid by work organisations is becoming every more important in modern industrial society. The rests are preventive actions for preserving and improving the functional abilities of workers and preventing their early individuality. The aim of this investigation was to find out the effects of a 14-day programmed active rest of workers of an organic chemical industry. The workers spent their holidays in the sport-recreational centre "Veruda" in Pula. The results obtained have shown changes in some important variables for the estimation of work ability that occured in the course of the rest, as well as the positive influence of such rest upon the subjective feeling of workers
