Knowledge Creation And Green Entrepreneurship: A Study Of Two Vietnamese Green Firms

    Get PDF
This paper aims to advance the understanding and practice of knowledge-based management in Vietnam by studying two Vietnamese agricultural companies. It provides illustrative examples of how knowledge-based management, pursuing a vision that fosters creativity and innovation by employees, could ultimately fulfil the profitability objective of the business and at the same time add value to the community’s quality of life. Using the SECI model as the parameter for analysis, we found that knowledge creation processes were affected by a combination of leadership, teamwork and Ba, corporate culture, and human resource management. Our conclusion emphasises the need for future research to further examine the practice of knowledge-based management in cross-industry segments in Vietnam and in other countries with similar conditions

REGULATING AN EXTRACURRICULAR PROGRAMME ON SWIMMING SAFETY AND DROWNING PREVENTION FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES 6 AND 7 BAC LIEU CITY, BAC LIEU PROVINCE, VIETNAM

    Get PDF
The paper employs traditional sports research methodologies involving document reference, interview, pedagogical observation, and pedagogical testing. Based on theoretical, practical, pedagogical, and scientific principles, the authors construct an extra-curricular program in swimming and drowning prevention skills for students in grades 6 and 7 in Bac Lieu City, Bac Lieu province. The program is designed to provide students with the ability to identify danger, and grasp the causes of drowning and how to prevent them, thereby developing self-defense skills and drowning prevention. The study team creates a program to teach lower secondary pupils the aforesaid skills in addition to instructing them how to utilize buoys, ropes, towels, poles, and to swim 25 meters breaststroke.  Article visualizations

AN INVESTIGATION INTO ASSESSMENT CRITERIA OF THE CONTENT CONTEXT AND FORMS OF EXTRACURRICULAR SPORTS ACTIVITIES FOR STUDENTS AT SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN TAY NINH PROVINCE, VIETNAM

After using the conventional scientific research methods, observing the steps of document synthesis, interviewing, and checking the reliability of the questionnaire through Cronbach's Alpha, the paper has come up with five quantitative assessment criteria and eight qualitative assessment questions of the content and forms of extracurricular sports activities for students at secondary schools in Tay Ninh province. This research has contributed to renewing the content and forms of extracurricular sports activities for students at secondary school.  Article visualizations

On the Interference Alignment Designs for Secure Multiuser MIMO Systems

In this paper, we propose two secure multiuser multiple-input multiple-output transmission approaches based on interference alignment (IA) in the presence of an eavesdropper. To deal with the information leakage to the eavesdropper as well as the interference signals from undesired transmitters (Txs) at desired receivers (Rxs), our approaches aim to design the transmit precoding and receive subspace matrices to minimize both the total inter-main-link interference and the wiretapped signals (WSs). The first proposed IA scheme focuses on aligning the WSs into proper subspaces while the second one imposes a new structure on the precoding matrices to force the WSs to zero. When the channel state information is perfectly known at all Txs, in each proposed IA scheme, the precoding matrices at Txs and the receive subspaces at Rxs or the eavesdropper are alternatively selected to minimize the cost function of an convex optimization problem for every iteration. We provide the feasible conditions and the proofs of convergence for both IA approaches. The simulation results indicate that our two IA approaches outperform the conventional IA algorithm in terms of average secrecy sum rate.Comment: Updated version, updated author list, accepted to be appear in IEICE Transaction

RESEARCH ON NEARSHORE WAVE CONDITIONS AT NHAT LE COASTAL AREA (QUANG BINH PROVINCE) BY USING MIKE21-SW

    Get PDF
Research on marine dynamics, including coastal wave motions, is a concern of countries in the world in general and Vietnam in particular. Coastal wave dynamics has a direct impact on human activities including coastal construction, shipping, irrigation, aquatic resources exploitation, etc. The coastal area of Nhat Le, Quang Binh is one of the areas strongly influenced by the coastal wave regime which increases the risk of coastal erosion, estuarine sedimentation, destroys the economic life, affects marine fishing and directly affects the tourist beach area. This article aims to introduce some research results based on the application of MIKE21-SW model of the Danish Hydraulic Institute (DHI) to simulate coastal wave regime in Nhat Le coastal zone, Quang Binh province. The model results are verified by real-time wave data in long-term from the WaMoS® II Radar System at Quang Binh station. The results show that there are many similarities in wave height and direction between the computational model and the actual observation data from the radar system. This result will be an important basis for research and application for coastal protection, reduction in river mouth sedimentation, clearing and flood drainage in the study area

On the element free Galerkin method in the static-analysis for the 2-D elastic-linear problem

    Get PDF
The Element Free Galerkin (EFG) method is a mesh less method for solving partial differential equations in which the trial and test functions employed in the discretization process result from moving least square interpolations (weak form of the variation AL principle). In this paper, the EFG method for solving problems in least-statics {1-D, 2-D) is developed and numerically implemented. The present method is a mesh less method, as it does not need a "finite element mesh" and it is only composed by the particles with theirs "compact support" (the influence domain) in the whole domain. Specially, the shape functions are not satisfying the Kronecker delta property, therefore, in this paper, we must enforce the essential boundary conditions by the Lagrangian multipliers method. Finally, several numerical examples are presented to illustrate the performance of the EFG method. The results are compared with the other method (EFM) and also with the analytic solutions. It shows that the EFG method gives the good effectiveness of the proposed error estimator in the global energy norm and the high rates of convergence with the size of the "compact support"

THE CONTENT AND METHODS OF CONDUCTING EXTRA-CURRICULAR SPORTS FOR LOWER SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN TAY NINH PROVINCE, VIETNAM

    Get PDF
The paper aims to provide a comprehensive, scientific and thorough description of the content and methods of how extra-curricular sports activities are conducted for lower secondary school students in Tay Ninh province. To investigate the dependable data, the research employed a range of trustworthy approaches including document synthesizing, interviewing the students and PE teachers in some lower secondary schools, and evaluating the gathered data. The results indicate that the most popular sports among the PE teachers and students are football, badminton, and volleyball which are mostly organized in group, class, and club practice, without an instructor. About the practice durations, it generally ranges from thirty minutes to two hours, equating to two or three sessions at school. Moreover, these activities usually take place in school, and it is mainly held in the afternoon or after theoretical learning.   Article visualizations
