On the issue of historiography of the study of the phenomenon of smarttechnologies that affect the transformation of society in modernconditions
This paper is the first trying of the author to reveal the existed scientific approaches considering smart - technologies as a key factor of the modern society development. This paper is based on findings of foreign authors, concerning the development of smart - technologies as a strong tool for modern society transformations in the context of rapid development, application, widespread distribution and indisputable influence of smart technologies on the life of society in the economic, political, social, cultural and educational fields. Motivation in English Language Learning for professional purposes
National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) than 16 year practices the realization of language enhancement programs for university staff members to enable them to participate in the development of the university, its teaching and learning practice, research and administrative and managerial process. Various language programs are regularly developed and delivered to meet the demand of the new tendencies of the University. The Strategic Programme on University Competitiveness Enhancement in the Group of Top Level World Class Research and Academic Institutions requires the university staff members to get the English language proficiency which is coincide for professional purposes. A particular dozens of language programs are designed for the language needs of the administrative and managerial university staff whose workload has greatly been changed with the necessity of the application of English in their professional activities. The paper shows the number of methods used to develop and raise motivation of students in teaching English for professional purposes and discusses the experience of TPU in teaching groups of administrative and managerial university staff members
Area of comfort: Russian language training for Vietnamese students at technical university
The paper focuses on the psychological and pedagogical peculiarities of teaching Russian to students from Vietnam. The methodology approach taken in this study is motivated by ideas of active Learning articulated by Verbitcky and the Motivation theory developed by Maslow and Yakimanskaya. The methodological basis of the research is a student-centered learning approach. The author provides a theoretical framework based on the communicative competence concept elaborated by Viatiutnev in area of theory and methods Russian as foreign language. Our qualitative methodology included interviews with students, review of documents and analysis of educational results. The authors use Smekal and Kucherβs Questionnaire to identify psychological characteristics of Vietnamese students and offer a solution to the problem of effective teaching with due consideration of the studentsβ cultural features. The authors present the research findings on the personality orientation of Vietnamese students enrolled in National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University. In general, we systematize suggestions for Russian Language teachers who work with international students from Vietnam
Research of the Formation of Regularities Siloxane Norbornene Derivatives by Thermal Diels-Alder Reaction
The methods of chromatography-mass spectrometry and 1H NMR-spectroscopy were used to study the reaction between dicyclopentadiene and vinyltriethoxysilane. The main reaction products are exo- and endo-isomers bicycle [2.2.1] hept-5-en-2-yl(triethoxy)silane. The overall yield of isomers is 55% of the load components. Co-products are the alkoxysilyl derivatives of dicyclopentadiene. Also the authors of the article paid attention to the problems of the time and temperature reaction, and ratios of starting components on chemical yield
