Working capacity and return to the labor market of patients with endoprosthesis
Musculoskeletal conditions are common among all age groups and present a serious risk of aggravation in quality of life, especially in patients of working age. In this context, endoprosthesis and the concomitant early kinesitherapy at the appropriate time in the life of the patient with musculoskeletal disorder offer an opportunity for a positive change in the quality of life. The aim of the study is to compare the course of the recovery period, the possibilities of premature workload, return to daily life and working capacity after hip arthroplasty in middle-aged patients. The subject of this paper are the changes in the functional tests of the patients after hip endoprothesis with an individual femur and induviduals with conventional hip replacement, who have undergone kinesitherapy treatment. Anthorpometric and statistical methods are the basis of the research methodology. The developed and applied kinesitherapy methodology in patients with individual femoral stem proves better functional results after its application in cases of patients of working age
Innovative Possibility To Support Reduction Of Overweight In Teenagers
Information technologies are attracting more and more interest among children, and their motor activity is replaced by prolonged standing in front of a computer, tablet or phone. One of the modern trends in medicine is the use of active video games adapted to the needs of the growing generation by increasing motivation and physical activity. They can find their therapeutical place in training mind, strength, balance and flexibility, making them competitive on static video games. Their ability to imitate sporting activities, dancing or standard training provides children with the necessary daily motor activity. These qualities of active video games stand out as an innovative opportunity that could be part of the kinesitherapeutic behavior in overweight children and adolescents. The purpose of this article is to explore possibilities to help reduce overweight in adolescents through active video games
Physiotherapy in Children With Cri Du Chat Syndrome: A Clinical Case
Cri du chat syndrome is a rare genetic abnormality characterized by a specific set of symptoms. It occurs as a result of the deletion of the short arm of the fifth chromosome. The syndrome can be inherited or congenital. Children suffering from this genetic disease have characteristic signs: low birth weight, microcephaly, short fingers, clinodactyly, muscular hypotonia, congenital heart defects, mental retardation, delayed psychomotor development, a characteristic cry resembling a cat`s meow, etc. The timely inclusion of physiotherapy and consistency in the implementation of the physiotherapeutic complexes would help prevent or limit the development of certain deficits, both in the physical development and in the neurological status of the child. This, in turn, will help the parents in their care of the child, ensuring greater independence and socialization within society. The aim of this report is to prepare and present a physiotherapeutic protocol whose purpose is to improve coordination and concentration while helping the patient adapt to activities of daily living.Materials and methods: A case study involving a five-year-old girl with congenital cri du chat syndrome. Results and discussion: Long-term physiotherapy, employing a range of methods and tools at each stage, combined with interdisciplinary collaboration with specialists such as speech therapists, psychologists, and occupational therapists. All of them contribute to the development and adaptation of the patient to the surrounding environment
Health care for patients with stroke - a challenge for rehabilitation at home environment
The process of rehabilitation in patients who have experienced stroke is complex and lengthy and needs to begin immediately after the incident. The procedures are to be carried out systematically and continuously over time to achieve the desired results. Moreover, the rehabilitation of stroke patients typically requires compiling specific and highly individualized program for each of teamwork and cooperation efforts of all medical and non-medical professionals. On the other hand, early initiation of rehabilitation and its duration and consistency of clinical, ambulatory and home conditions is particularly important to reduce disability that inevitably accompanies patients whose rehabilitation is not conducted with the required duration. The conditions offered by the NHIF, however are primarily focused on the recovery of patients in a hospital environment. The need to cover the existing deficit of rehabilitative care reveals untapped opportunities to create a center for rehabilitation care provided at home. The disclosure of the limitations that puts the health system for patients who have experienced stroke and the creation of mechanisms to overcome them ensures good health and social policies. The expected benefits of development and expansion of this type of personalized health care aimed at recovery of locomotor activity of this vulnerable population group are associated with improved quality of life and early social inclusion

Nowadays, except as gym and fitness equipment, Fitball has established itself as a valuable and widely used method in the kinesitherapeutic practice. The characteristics of Fitball require compliance with certain rules in selecting it to achieve maximum therapeutic effect and safety for the patient. The selection of the exact size, color and type are essential for precise execution and effectiveness of the methodology. Knowing the technological characteristics and conditions for storage and operation of Fitball ensure the safety of its use
The Role of Long-Π’erm Physiotherapy in the Treatment of Scoliosis
Scoliosis is one of the most common spine deformations today. Approximately 80% of the cases of scoliosis are defined as "idiopathic," which means that the cause of scoliosis is unknown. Either way, the cause is characterised by certain symptoms that are determined through medical examination and X-ray and are classified according to different indications. Long-term physiotherapy finds wide application in the treatment of scoliosis. Such treatment is essential to improving the lives of patients and reducing the progressive course of the disease in some of them. The purpose of this article is to spread awareness about this spine disease called scoliosis and highlight the need for long-term physiotherapy, which is essential for its treatment

This hampers the daily activities of patients to a certain degree and turns them into users of long-term care, which include medication therapy, rehabilitation, balneotherapy. Applied, the mineral waters as a part of the complex balneological treatment, have a beneficial effect on various joint diseases with their mineral, gas composition and high temperature. On the basis of the data obtained from the study of the chemical composition of one of the water sources in the village of Yagoda, we have found that water can be used in treatment and prevention of degenerative joint diseases. This report aims to present the beneficial effects of mineral water from a source in the village of Yagoda in patients with such pathology. Materials and Methods: The study combines theoretical concepts and observations of the influence of mineral water from a source in the village of Yagoda in patients with degenerative joint diseases. Results and Discussion: The application of mineral water from the source in the village of Yagoda due to the high concentration of fluorine and low mineralization, hydrocarbon-sulphate and sodium content of water, affects extremely well the inflammatory and degenerative joint diseases. Conclusion: Elements dissolved in water, penetrating the body through the skin or by internal use, are involved in its biochemical reactions. On the basis of the data obtained from the study of the chemical composition of one of the water sources in the village of Yagoda, it was found that the water based on the pH indicator is alkaline and unsuitable for everyday drinking, but it has an extremely beneficial effect in the treatment of degenerative joint diseases, improving the general condition, psycho - emotional tone, the functional capacity of the locomotor system, the respiratory and the cardiovascular system of the patient

Understanding its nature is evolving and changing according to the influence of historical events - wars, revolutions, changes in social system, but is also influenced by culture, customs, traditions, etc. The historical vision of this problem provides an opportunity that reveals the dynamic changes in the attitude of different societies towards βotherness`. Modern approaches towards disability, in the context of the idea of a social state, the right to live in decent conditions and social protection of the human and the citizen, require clarification of the exclusion policy for people with disabilities, and overcoming the dogmas created by the so-called βhealthy` people. The most significant problem, however derived not so much from the different perspectives of scientific knowledge about disability but from the attitude of the βnon-disabled` towards it, which inevitably contributes to increasing the distance between βnormality` and βotherness`. The polysemy and the distances are the reason for the different approaches towards disability and they reflect, in one way or another, the changes in the attitude towards it from the 60s of the twentieth century until nowadays
