Conceptual bases for creation of logistic innovative centers for agricultural production

    Get PDF
The current economic and political situation has raised a topical issue of food sovereignty and creation of import-substituting production of agricultural products in Russia. It is supposed to support the construction of logistics centers for Russian agricultural products. Although many of the existing and being created logistic centers were declared to be innovative, they have no such modern logistics innovation as the integration. The conceptual basis for the creation of a logistics center is integration with transformation of a center according to the business concept of Supply Chain Management (SCM). The paper presents a number of main possible ways of cooperation between enterprises for the organization of inter-firm integrated logistics: 1. Conducting joint business following the example of the experience of Japanese firms which create the so-called "keiretsu": a group of companies working together, but without a formal partnership. Analysts argue that the concentration of production, capital, and modern technologies in a functionally-integrated conglomerates "keiretsu" helps to reduce costs by increasing productivity and achieving economies of scale; groups intensively compete in all areas that stimulates the desire to penetrate in new markets. 2. Creation of syndicates which is a form of alliance business related mainly with products sales. The main purpose of the syndicate is to expand and hold position in markets, adjust the volume of output within the syndicate and the price of external market outlets. As a rule, a syndicate organizes a single selling service to which the members of the syndicate must hand over at a predetermined price and quota their products for joint sales. In some cases management of the syndicate arrange the purchase of raw materials and other products for the members of the syndicate at the expense of incomes raised from the sale of their products. Creation of innovative logistics centers for agricultural products will: 1. contribute to addressing the issue of food sovereignty and the establishment of import-substituting production of agricultural products; 2. provide low-cost, environmentally friendly agricultural products of own production; 3. create more jobs; 4. collect additional tax revenues to the budget; 5. receive a powerful stimulus to revive and support domestic agricultural producers

Expert system for managing data on the competencies of a modern manager

In the modern economy, digitalization has become one of the key components of the Russian Federation regions socio-economic development. Enterprises of various industries are faced with the need to process large amounts of data, which greatly complicates data management, and therefore the relevance of the analysis of artificial intelligence technologies increases. Training employees for industrial processes is a major challenge in any industry. Effective human resource management requires an accurate assessment and presentation of available competencies, as well as an effective mapping of the required competencies for specific positions. Competences enable the company to achieve high production and economic results.   The aim of the study is to develop a structural model of a predictive expert system for managing data on the competencies of a modern manager by combining artificial and human intelligence, which can serve as a decision support tool for managers in real conditions to improve the efficiency of a particular enterprise.   The study of the demand for managers and requirements for candidates in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan was conducted on the data of the largest Russian Internet recruitment company HeadHunter. To develop a structural model of the proposed expert system, information from specialized scientific publications published in the Russian and foreign scientific literature of the Web of science and Scopus databases was used. The expert system will allow the manager to find the best options for using employees, predict the development of the enterprise as a whole and its individual divisions, which will significantly increase the key performance indicators of any company

Hosing of a long relativistic particle bunch in plasma

Experimental results show that hosing of a long particle bunch in plasma can be induced by wakefields driven by a short, misaligned preceding bunch. Hosing develops in the plane of misalignment, self-modulation in the perpendicular plane, at frequencies close to the plasma electron frequency, and are reproducible. Development of hosing depends on misalignment direction, its growth on misalignment extent and on proton bunch charge. Results have the main characteristics of a theoretical model, are relevant to other plasma-based accelerators and represent the first characterization of hosing

A concept of the transition radiation detector for a hadron separation in a forward direction of the LHC experiments

    Get PDF
Studying of hadron production in forward direction at the LHC energy has a great interest both for understanding of the fundamental QCD processes and also in applied areas such as the description of ultra-high energy cosmic particle interactions. The energies of secondary hadrons in such studies almost reach the maximum energy available at the LHC of ∼6 TeV, which corresponds to a Lorentz γ-factor up to 104 and above. The only effective technique able to identify particles in this range is based on the transition radiation detectors (TRD). Prototypes of such kind of detector were built and tested at the CERN SPS accelerator. Some experimental results obtained in these tests are briefly presented here and compared with Monte Carlo (MC) simulations. MC model demonstrates a good agreement with the experiment. On this basis a concept of a full-scale TRD optimized for the hadron identification in the TeV energy region is proposed. Different particle identification techniques were considered and examined. The expected detector performance to reconstruct secondary hadrons produced in forward direction at the LHC is presented

Using a sample of 2626 b\=b events, produced in 350GeV/c350\,\hbox{GeV}/c π\pi^- interactions in a copper target, which includes 1313 events where the decays of both BB and B\overline{B} are well reconstructed, we measure the differential distributions with respect to xFx_F and pT2p_T^2 as well as some two-particle kinematic variables. We also compare our results with a previous experiment and with predictions based on perturbative QCD

Hunt for new phenomena using large jet multiplicities and missing transverse momentum with ATLAS in 4.7 fb−1 of s√=7TeV proton-proton collisions

    Get PDF
Results are presented of a search for new particles decaying to large numbers of jets in association with missing transverse momentum, using 4.7 fb−1 of pp collision data at s√=7TeV collected by the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider in 2011. The event selection requires missing transverse momentum, no isolated electrons or muons, and from ≥6 to ≥9 jets. No evidence is found for physics beyond the Standard Model. The results are interpreted in the context of a MSUGRA/CMSSM supersymmetric model, where, for large universal scalar mass m 0, gluino masses smaller than 840 GeV are excluded at the 95% confidence level, extending previously published limits. Within a simplified model containing only a gluino octet and a neutralino, gluino masses smaller than 870 GeV are similarly excluded for neutralino masses below 100 GeV

Measurements of Higgs boson production and couplings in diboson final states with the ATLAS detector at the LHC

    Get PDF
Measurements are presented of production properties and couplings of the recently discovered Higgs boson using the decays into boson pairs, H →γ γ, H → Z Z∗ →4l and H →W W∗ →lνlν. The results are based on the complete pp collision data sample recorded by the ATLAS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider at centre-of-mass energies of √s = 7 TeV and √s = 8 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of about 25 fb−1. Evidence for Higgs boson production through vector-boson fusion is reported. Results of combined fits probing Higgs boson couplings to fermions and bosons, as well as anomalous contributions to loop-induced production and decay modes, are presented. All measurements are consistent with expectations for the Standard Model Higgs boson
