Self- Categorization of University Students
Identification of the following is the goal of the current study:
1- The Self – Categorization of the university students.
Students at Babylon University make up the study's population. (Morning Study) including both
genders (males and females) that majoring (Scientific and Humanities) studies for the school year
2022-2023. The research sample consisted of (380) male and female students were selected by
stratified random method with appropriate distribution, and to achieve the objectives of the
research, the researcher adopted the self-classification scale (Al-Saadi 2010) in this research, based
on the theory (Turner 1979) It was presented to a group of specialized arbitrators to judge the
validity of its paragraphs, and then the psychometric properties were extracted for it through the
application to the research sample of (380) male and female students, and the value of the stability
coefficient by Alpha Cronbach method (0.8 5) and by re-testing method (0.81) After the scale became
in its final form (42) items, the researcher applied it to the research sample of (380) male and female
students, and the researcher built a scale of emotional dissonance based on the theory (1983,
Hochschild ) of emotional dissonance As well as it was presented to a group of experts arbitrators
were also extracted psychometric properties of it, as the coefficient of stability of the scale in the
manner of Alpha Cronbach (0.8 8) and the method of re-testing (0.83) and after confirming the
validity of the scale was applied in its final form (30) paragraph on the research sample.
After finishing the application, the researcher utilized the proper statistical techniques to analyze the
data with the help of the statistical bag for social sciences, and the results of the research showed the
following:
1- The university students have the ability for Self – Categorizatio
EUS-FNA for the Diagnosis of Retroperitoneal Primitive Neuroectodermal Tumor
Primitive neuroectodermal tumor (PNET) is a rare “small round blue cell tumor” that is diagnosed by open biopsy or percutaneous biopsy of the lesion under radiologic guidance. In this case report, we present a novel approach to the diagnosis of a retroperitoneal PNET by endoscopic ultrasound- (EUS-) guided fine needle aspiration (FNA). A 35-year-old man presented with the history of left-sided flank pain and swelling of 3-weeks duration. Computerized tomography (CT) scan of his abdomen revealed a 12.8 × 13 × 12.5 cm cystic and solid mass arising from the retroperitoneum and displacing the third and fourth portions of the duodenum. He underwent EUS which revealed a well-circumscribed heterogeneous mass abutting the inferior portion of the stomach. EUS-FNA of the mass revealed malignant cells consistent with primitive neuroectodermal tumor (PNET)/Ewing's sarcoma. EUS-guided FNA is an appropriate technique for diagnosing retroperitoneal PNET/Ewing's sarcoma
Aberrant Right Hepatic Duct Draining into the Cystic Duct: Clinical Outcomes and Management
Background. Aberrant right hepatic duct (ARHD) draining into
cystic duct (CD) is relatively rare but clinically important
because of its susceptibility to injuries during cholecystectomy.
These injuries are often-times missed or diagnosed late and as a
result can develop serious complications. Methods. Four
consecutive patients diagnosed with ARHD draining into CD were
identified for inclusion. Results. The mean age of patients was
42.5 years. The diagnosis in one of the patient was incidental
during a routine endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography
(ERCP). Other three patients were diagnosed post-cholecystectomy-
one presented with suspected intra-operative biliary injury, one
with persistent bile leak and another with recurrent cholangitis.
Inadequate filling of the segment of liver on ERCP with dilation
of intrahepatic ducts in the corresponding segment on imaging was
present in two patients with complete obstruction of ARHD which
was managed surgically. In another patient, the partially
obstructed ARHD was managed by endoscopic therapy. Conclusion.
ARHD draining into the CD can have varied clinical manifestations.
In appropriate clinical settings, it should be suspected in
patients with persistence of bile leak early after
cholecystectomy, segmental dilation of intrahepatic-bile ducts on
imaging and paucity of intrahepatic filling in a segment of liver
on ERCP
Leukemic Infiltration of the Esophagus, a Rare Etiology for a Common Disease
Introduction: The etiology of esophagitis in patients with acute leukemia is usually related to infections, reflux, or chemotherapy toxicity. Infiltration of esophagus by leukemic cells is rarely considered in the differential diagnosis.Presentation of Case: Here we present a case of 87-year-old male patient with a recent diagnosis of acute myelocytic leukemia who was found to have severe diffuse esophagitis secondary to leukemic infiltration. Conclusion: Leukemic infiltration of the esophagus is a rare potential etiology of severe esophagitis in patients with disseminated leukemia. Esophageal biopsy is needed to identify the exact cause of esophageal lesions in leukemia patient
Metastatic renal cell carcinoma from a native kidney of a renal transplant patient diagnosed by endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (EUS-FNA) biopsy
Endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (EUS-FNA) biopsy sampling of enlarged lymph nodes is increasingly used to diagnose metastatic tumors, especially of the gastrointestinal tract and the lungs. Herein, we describe the diagnosis of metastatic renal cell carcinoma from a native kidney of a 54 year-old male patient, who had a 5-years history of renal transplant, by EUS-FNA of mediastinal and celiac lymph nodes. Histological and immunohistochemical findings confirmed the origin of metastatic tumor. EUS-FNA with proper cytological evaluation can be useful in the diagnosis of metastatic renal cell carcinoma in renal transplant patients.
Case Report Acute Cholangitis following Biliary Obstruction after Duodenal OTSC Placement in a Case of Large Chronic Duodenocutaneous Fistula
Over-the-Scope Clip system, also called "Bear Claw, " is a novel endoscopic modality used for closure of gastrointestinal defect with high efficacy and safety. We present a patient with history of eosinophilic gastroenteritis and multiple abdominal surgeries including Billroth II gastrectomy complicated by a large chronic duodenocutaneous fistula from a Billroth II afferent limb to the abdominal wall. Bear Claw clip was used for closure of this fistula. The patient developed acute cholangitis one day after placement of the Bear Claw clip. Acute cholangitis due to papillary obstruction is a potential complication of Bear Claw placement at the dome of the duodenal stump (afferent limb) in patient with Billroth II surgery due to its close proximity to the major papilla
Improvement structural and dielectric properties of PS/SiC/Sb2O3 nanostructures for nanoelectronics devices
In the current study, the PS/SiC/Sb2O3 nanocomposites have been prepared by using solution casting method with different concentrations of SiC/Sb2O3 nanoparticles (0,2,4,6,8) % wt. The structural and dielectric properties of (PS/SiC/Sb2O3) nanocomposites have been investigated. Full emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) used to study the surface of nanocomposite. FE-SEM confirmed that good distribution of SiC and Sb2O3 NPs into the polymer matrix. Optical microscope (OM) was tested the morphological of nanocomposite that proven that the polystyrene is exceptionally miscible, as seen by its finer form and smooth, homogeneous surface, while the additive concentration SiC and Sb2O3 NPs are well distributed on the surface of the polymer nanocomposite films. Fourier transformation spectroscopy (FTIR) was examine the structural of nanocomposite and give the information of the vibration of molecules. From FTIR, the additive SiC and Sb2O3 NPs caused interaction with polymer matrix. FTIR proven that there is physical interactions between polystyrene and SiC and Sb2O3 NPs. According to AC electrical properties, dielectric constant and dielectric loss of the NCs reduce with increasing the frequency of the applied electric field and increased with increasing concentration of SiC/Sb2O3 nanoparticles, while AC electrical conductivity increased with increasing frequency and concentration of SiC/Sb2O3 NPs. The results of structural and electrical characteristics show that the PS/SiC/Sb2O3 nanocomposites may be used for various electronics devices

Antibacterial and anti‑inflammatory efficacy of n‑acetyl cysteine in endodontic treatment: A scoping review
This scoping review systematically summarized the available evidence about the efficacy of N-acetyl
cysteine (NAC) as an intracanal antibacterial and/or anti-inflammatory.PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google scholar search engines/databases were searched up to
February 2022 to retrieve relevant studies. The studies were evaluated for eligibility criteria, and identifying relevant
studies.Out of 193 studies, 15 fulfilled the inclusion criteria and were processed for data extraction. Thirteen in vitro
studies assessed antibacterial/antibiofilm efficacy of NAC, and reported good and promising efficacy: NAC was found
as efficacious as the comparators (chlorhexidine, sodium hypochlorite, calcium hydroxide), or even showed higher
efficacy
