The role of Government in the Industry cannot be underestimated and has given impetus to the Industry especially after removal of quota system MFA in year 2004. Consequences of accelerated Global Warming on nature and economy and the remedies for Global Green Economy

Abstract: Global warming is the problem of 21st century for the globe. The root cause of problem is heavy oil consumption, deforestation, CO2 emission due to human and industrial activities and the rising threats of globalization like terrorism etc. This paper will address the impact of global warming on the Industries, human resource and the flora and fauna. The human resource has made a significant change in the current environment with the collective use of industries and the other GHG (Green House Gases) causing disturbance in the environment. In addition, the human resource is thinking on this issue, as it has become a global issue. There have been initiatives taken on Global Scale when Kyoto protocol agreement was signed which is in continuation till 2012. There have been further initiatives when the Ministers from across the global met at Copenhagen but at the end of the end there have been no discrete plans for Global Warming. Though it is a problem but how certainly can we manage this is more important. Global warming solutions can reduce the amount of heat-trapping gases that we emit into the atmosphere. Among the solutions, is a model G2I3 addressed in this paper and the role of every Individual which can make a great impact on the environmental problems

Deafness and blindness: A rare presentation of meningeal carcinomatosis

A 60-year-old woman presented with progressive loss of vision and deafness with recurrent simple partial seizures. This patient was treated for carcinoma breast 13 years before this presentation. Magnetic resonance imaging brain and magnetic resonance angiography was normal. Cerebrospinal fluid analysis was inconclusive. Meningeal biopsy revealed metastatic deposits and malignant cells were positive for estrogen, progesterone, and HER2nu receptor. This case has some unique features in the form of involvement of optic and vestibulocochlear nerves together, primary site of malignancy was hidden, and diagnosis was made with meningeal biopsy

The impact of education on the transition from university students to entrepreneurs: a theory of planned behaviour perspective

Purpose – Entrepreneurship represents a complex decision-making process capable of influencing the conditions of a socio-economic system. For this reason, stimulating entrepreneurship is a topic that has always fascinated scholars and attracted the attention of public policy makers. This study, from the perspective of the theory of planned behaviour (TPB), aims to contribute to the analysis of entrepreneurial intention (EI) in university students. Factors such as entrepreneurship education (EE), mediation of personal attitude (PA), perceived behavioural control (PBC), EI, regulatory support (RS) and opportunity recognition (OR) for university students. Design/methodology/approach – Research data was collected using a questionnaire, and a cross-sectional sample was selected from senior business and engineering students who are most likely to participate in entrepreneurial activities. The survey was conducted in the Delhi NCR region. 240 students were interviewed. Partial least square structural equation modelling using SmartPLS-4 was used to test the explanatory and predictive power of the proposed model. Findings – The results of this study offer interesting contributions to the academic debate. First, EE has a significant impact on PA, PBC and entrepreneurial intentionality. Second, PBC, recognition of opportunities and EI have a significant impact on entrepreneurial education. Finally, PA and PBC significantly mediate the “entrepreneurial education – entrepreneurial intention” relationship. Originality/value – Interesting elements of originality are offered by this study. First, entrepreneurship is studied as a decision-making process influenced by intentions and not behaviours. Second, the authors limited the efforts to unraveling the effect of the five variables on the formation of EI. Finally, the large size of the sample allows the authors to obtain significant results, directing future studies to other territorial contexts. Additionally, incorporating some control variables, such as gender and family background, would explore the relationship between the model variables more meaningfull

Antecedents of entrepreneurial intention with specific reference to cyber entrepreneurship in Delhi/NCR

The study aims to examine key drivers of entrepreneurial intention, with specific reference to cyber entrepreneurship. Understanding the key drivers and intention of cyber entrepreneurs has become a central issue in academic and public policy debate. Research is descriptive and causal in nature. A total of 817 students in the final year of management studies program, from management institutes in Delhi/NCR, were surveyed through a self-designed questionnaire. We have employed SPSS and AMOS to analyse the data using exploratory factor analysis and confirmed factor analysis. results of this research signify that all the independent variables such as attitude to entrepreneurship (ATE), entrepreneurship education (EE), perceived structural support (PSS), role of IT (RIT), cyber entrepreneurship intention, cyber entrepreneurial motivation factors and personality traits (PT), emerged as key factors of cyber entrepreneurship.
