The Cat’s in the Cradle: 5 Personality Types’ Influence on Work-Family Conflict of Nurses
The purposes of this research was to investigate the affect from 5 personality types toward the Work-Family Conflict (WFC) at the nurses. During October to November in 2014, 100 questionnaires were distributed to the respondents to collect data in the A. Makkasau General Hospital Parepare by utilized nonprobability sampling method that is purposive sampling. Statistical tool that utilized in this research was SPSS version 20 for Windows software. The multiple regression analysis result shows that Conscientiousness was significantly negatively affecting for t-value around -2.142 with significance level for 0.035. Neuroticism is positively contributing to WFC with t-value around 2.656 and significance level for 0.010. Extraversion was negatively affecting and not bring significant impact on WFC with t-value around -.0 730 and significance level for 0.468. Agreeableness was negatively affecting and did not significantly contributing to the WFC with t-value around 1.897 and significance level on 0.062. Openness to Experience was negatively affecting with t-value around -.0767 with significance level on 0.445.
The findings suggest that 1) Conscientiousness was significantly and negatively affecting the WFC, which means supported by hypothesis 1; 2) Neuroticism also significantly and positively contributing to the WFC, which means supported the Hypothesis 2; 3) Organization should be able to realize that the economic costs from WFC are high and should be able to deal with the problems by implementing work flexibility for example.
Personality role and benefit from work and family would not reduce an individual responsibility on organization. Thus, it can help employees to balance their working and personal life. Personality types also can help whether to increase or even to decrease the WFC. An employee’ understanding can minimize the WFC itself also will maximize the program of the organization effectively. As an example, a training program will help a neurotic type employee to understands their on how to perceive a negative experience
Penggunaan single index model dalam pembentukan portofolio optimal saham syariah
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui saham-saham perusahaan pada Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) yang membentuk portofolio optimal menggunakan single index model periode Juni 2017- November 2021, mengetahui proporsi dana masing-masing saham perusahaan yang membentuk portofolio optimal, serta mengetahui return dan risiko dari portofolio optimal. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh saham perusahaan yang tergabung dalam Jakarta Islamic Index periode Juni 2017 - November 2021. Adapun yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian adalah 46 saham perusahaan yang termasuk dalam kriteria yang ditetapkan peneliti. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan single index model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 16 saham perusahaan sebagai penyusun portofolio optimal yaitu saham ACES sebesar 1,52% ADRO sebesar 0,44%, ANTM sebesar 5,50%, BRPT sebesar 6,80%, CPIN sebesar 10,80%, ERAA sebesar 9,45%, INCO sebesar 7,42% INDY sebesar 3,83%, INKP sebesar 7,11%, ITMG sebesar 2,65% JPFA sebesar 2,10% MDKA sebesar 26,48%, MIKA sebesar 2,16%, PTBA sebesar 1,62% TKIM sebesar 8,80%, dan TPIA sebesar 3,30%. Expected return yang didapatkan investor dari portofolio optimal yang terbentuk adalah sebesar 0,0351 atau 3,51%. Risiko portofolio yang ditanggung oleh investor atas investasi dari portofolio saham optimal tersebut adalah 0,0066 atau 0,66%
Effect Of Principal’s Leadership On Teacher Performance In Junior High School: A Case Of Indonesia
this research was conducted by applying a quantitative approach to the type of descriptive survey research to determine the effect of the principal's leadership style on teacher performance at Marioriwawo 3 Public Junior High School, Soppeng District. The independent variable in this study is leadership style and the dependent variable is teacher performance. Qualitative and quantitative data are collected by conducting observations, interviews, and giving questionnaires about leadership style and teacher performance. Classical assumption test and hypothesis testing after the research data were declared valid and reliable. The analysis of the research findings presented in the previous chapter concludes that the leadership style applied by the Principal of the Marioriwawo 3 Junior High School in Soppeng Regency is a transformational leadership style with a very good level of teacher performance (4.27) and the principal's leadership style significantly influences the performance of teachers with a significance value of 0.002 and a t-count value of 2.509
Pengaruh Motivasi Dan Kepemimpinan Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Di Kantor Kecamatan Anggeraja Kabupaten Enrekang
This research aims to determine the influence of motivation and leadership on employee performance at the Anggeraja District Office, Enrekang Regency. The variables of this research are Motivation (X1), Leadership (X2) as the independent variable and Performance Volume (Y) as the dependent variable. The population in this study were 25 employees at the home office of the sub-district head of Anggeraja sub-district, Enrekang Regency who were also the samples. The sampling technique in this research was carried out using a simple random sampling method (Simple Random Sampling method). Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis using SPSS 25.00 for Windows
Based on the research results and discussion, the conclusion in the research is that Motivation (X1) has t count 6.429 ≥ t table 2.069 and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. This can be interpreted as meaning that motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Anggeraja District Office, Enrekang Regency. The higher the employee's motivation at work, the better the employee's performance in carrying out their duties. Leadership (X2) is 2.699 ≥ t table 2.069 and a significant value of 0.013 < 0.05 can be concluded that leadership has a positive and significant effect on performance. Employees who have a leadership attitude both in leading themselves and their subordinates and co-workers can have good performance at work
Here Comes the Sun: Green hrm Implementation Toward SME’s Sustainability in Tourism Industry
Purpose: This paper explores the variable of Green Human Resource Management (Green HRM) in creating job satisfaction and organizational commitment at Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) particularly at the tourism sector.

Theoretical framework: Â The existing literature has predominantly discussed about the effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment, but what has not been investigated is how the effect of job satisfaction through Green HRM as argued by the works of Firdaus and Udin (2014), Loucks et al. (2010), and Muster and Schrader (2011).

Design/methodology/approach: Â This study employs a qualitative research design using semi-structured interviews to explore issues of research in depth. Purposive sampling was used to collect data from 25 SMEs actors (business owners, managers, and employees) in tourism industry.

Findings:  The results show that job satisfaction has a significant effect on organizational commitment as it is mediated by Green HRM practices. Simultaneously, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and Green HRM are admitted as bringing more employees’ quality of working life. Moreover, it is argued that as the quality of working life is better, their productivity at work will be significantly positive.

Research, Practical & Social implications: We suggest a future research agenda and highlight the practical SME’s actors in tourism industry in order to create a sustainable a greener working environment.

Originality/value: The novelty of this study that it was discovered that the job satisfaction of employees at the SMEs sector is influenced by the practice of GHRM which ultimately increases their work commitment
PENGARUH LIKUIDITAS DAN PROFIBILITAS TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR SUB SEKTOR MAKANAN DAN MINUMAN YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA PADA PERIODE 2017 – 2021
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh likuiditas dan profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2017 – 2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2017 – 2021. Metode pengambilan sampel dengan porpusive sampling, dan berdasarkan kriteria jumlah sampel adalah 26 perusahaan dari 72 perusahaan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, regresi berganda yang sebelumnya di uji dengan asumsi klasik.Hasil penelitian menunjukan secara simultan CR dan ROA berpengaruh secara poaitif dan siginfiksn terhadap nilai perusahaan . dimana CR secara parsial berpengaruh negative dan tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan dan ROA secara parsial berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan
I CAN’T GET NO SATISFACTION: EXPLORING INDONESIAN GUESTS’ SATISFACTION AND SERVICE QUALITY IN SOUTH AFRICAN HOTELS
This study aims to determine whether the dimensions of service quality affect the satisfaction of Indonesian tourists who visit South Africa and use hotel services, as well as to analyse the most dominant factors in influencing Indonesian tourists' satisfaction toward hotels’ service in South Africa. The population in this study were Indonesian tourists who had just returned from South Africa and used hotel accommodations. Samples were obtained randomly at the Soekarno Hatta International Arrival Terminal, Tangerang, Indonesia in 2019 before the Covid-19 pandemic. The sample was taken around 100 respondents by using non-probability sampling approach with the accidental sampling method. It is discovered that Indonesian guests are pleased with the service quality of the hotels during their stay in South Africa and that the Indonesia guest’s revisit intention quite high. Also, it is suggested that the hotel managements in South Africa need to maintain the elements that have been rated satisfactory by Indonesian guests and need to improve the things that are still lacking. This study contributes an empirical basis in strategic aspect for managing foreign tourists/hotel guests’ satisfaction from abroad perspective
The Effect of Compensation On The Performance of KFC Pettarani Employees
This study aims to determine the effect of compensation on the performance of Kentucky Friend Chicken
(KFC) restaurant Pettarani employees either partially or simultaneously. The number of respondents in this
study were 44 KFC Pettarani employees. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling technique. The
collection of data used is a questionnaire, documentation, and observation. The analytical method in this
study used multiple linear regression analysis which previously carried out validity tests, reliability tests,
classic assumption tests (normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test), coefficient of
determination test, t test, and f test. The results showed that partially financial compensation has a positive
and significant effect on employee performance with a sig value of 0.005 (<0.05). While non-financial
compensation partially has no positive and significant effect on employee performance with a sig value of
0.295 (> 0.05). As for simultaneously, financial compensation and non-financial compensation have a
positive and significant effect on employee performance with a sig value of 0.000
