Radiative corrections to the decay
Full one-loop electroweak corrections to the on-shell decay
are computed in the framework of models with two Higgs doublets (THDM). Such a
decay may be dominant for over a wide range of parameter space
relevant at present and future colliders. We show that the corrections may
approach 40% and in particular are sensitive to , which parametrizes
the discrete symmetry breaking term. We suggest that a measurement of the
branching ratio of may offer a possibility of measuring the
magnitude of .Comment: 27 pages, LaTex, 6 figures, one figure added, appendix shortened. To

Note on tree-level unitarity in the General Two Higgs Doublet Model
Tree-level unitarity constraints on the masses of the Higgs bosons in the
general Two Higgs Doublet Model (THDM) are studied. We first consider the case
where the Higgs potential is invariant under a discrete symmetry
transformation, and derive strong constraints on the mass of the lightest
CP-even Higgs boson () as a function of . We then show that the
inclusion of the discrete symmetry breaking term weakens the mass bounds
considerably. It is suggested that a measurement of and may
enable discrimination between the two Higgs potentials.Comment: 10 pages, LaTeX, 2 PostScript figure
Impact of Intellectual Capital on Realizing University Goals in a Sample of Jordanian Universities
Purpose â This paper aims to examine the direct impact of four components of intellectual capital (leadership and strategy, human capital, structural capital, and relational capital) on realizing university goals(academic goals, maintaining and developing staff, improving community relationships, achieving the universityâs plans and programs, and attracting the new students) in a sample of three Jordanian universities: University of Jordan (the oldest and largest Jordanian University founded 1962), Al Zaytoonah University of Jordan ( a private university founded in 1993) and Middle East University( a private university founded in 2005). To measures the impact of its components on realizing university goals, a set of hypotheses were developed, questionnaire was built and evaluated by reference group, and data from a sample of university staff to test these hypotheses. Intellectual capital has a significant effect on university performance in meeting its goals. Furthermore, leadership, human and relational capital have in general a significant effect on realizing majority of university goals, and more than structural capital. Keywords?Intellectual capital, university leadership human, structural, relational capital, university goals
The effect of geogrid reinforcement of embankment over soft foundation
This paper deals with the usage of geogrids for soil improvement utilizing the PLAXIS 3D FE program's numerical analysis approach. Because of the low shear strength and instability of soft clay soils, reinforcement has been used to improve clay soils. The reinforcement mechanism was analyzed on the basis of results and output. The results of the program outputs are shown in PLAXIS. The reinforcement has little effect in the case of horizontal displacement and vertical displacement, but only a significant effect on the safety factor. This paper also deals with improving soft clay soil using stone columns. The main objective is to reduce settlement and increase the carrying capacity of the soil and shorten the consolidation period. The work investigates geogrid-reinforced stone columns that improved the behavior of soft clay soils under the influence of loading and construction. Underwent soil the stone columns testing covered with a geogrid and traffic load of 50 kpa. The improved method of using stone columns and PLAXIS 3D was used to create the FE model. The results concluded that the comparison results gave an improvement rate of up to 50 % of the improvement for the stone-column-reinforced clay soil in the construction phase
