    Caring Among Staff Nursing: Investigating the Meaning of Caring from the Perspective of Patients in Egypt

    The aims of study were concerned on context the concept of caring from the Egyptian cultural and to rank the caring behavior from the most important to the least one for enhancing the hospital police by important aspect of caring behaviors for patient satisfaction. A convenience sample of (58) patients with no attempt at randomization were recruited in the study. Descriptive research design was used in this study. This research was carried out at surgical units in Private and Government Hospital. Two types of questionnaires were used in this study. (i) the Personnel characteristics data questionnaire, which was developed by the researcher to collect data associated with the major demographic variables of patient participants. (ii) Caring Behavior Assessment (CBA) scale which was used to measure patient perceptions of caring behaviors. The finding of the present study revealed that the CBA Subscales is significant difference between these two health care service providers. Therefore, the service of Government hospitals in relation to availability of CBA to patients was highest than that of the private. The current study conclude that the caring concept was context among Egyptian perception as Humanism as the first aspect for all patient in surgical units followed by helping and trust.     Impact of Transformational Leadership Training Program on Nurse's Unit Manager Behavior Change

    First-line managers can influence the success of health care organizations because of their management role, especially at the unit level. Adopting transformational leadership behavior helps in the success of the organization (Laoha vichien, 2009). Training program for first-line managers has become a task that organizations today should pay attention to (Luu, Nguyen,2012).Aim of the study: was to evaluate impact of transformational leadership training program on nurse’s unit manager behavior change at El-Minia University Hospital. A sample was consisted of (35) heads of the unit. Data were collected by using three tools (1) The Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire MLQ) Leader Form is a self-administered questionnaire (2) The Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire MLQ) Leader observational Form (3) Knowledge Questionnaire Sheet (Pre and post- test). Results: levels of nursing managers' total knowledge were significant improved post than pre –program, there is statistically significant improvement of nurse managers perception and skills regarding multi-factional questioners dimension items post1 and post2 program than preprogram. Conclusion: After the training program implemented, their knowledge, perceptions and skills significantly improved toward transformational leadership style. Recommendation:  continuous designing of training programs for head nurses to improve transformational leadership style and empower the culture of transformational organizational and Coaching in transformational leadership might help to equip leaders with behaviors skill lacking in their repertoire.     Examining The Relations between Organizational justice, Turnover and Burnout among Staff Nurses

    The aims of study were concerned on to investigate the relationship between organizational justice, burnout and intention to leave of nurses of Minia Hospital. A convenience sample of (46) staff nurses were recruited in the study. Descriptive correlational research design was used in this study. This research was carried out at Minia Hospital for psychological health and addiction. Four tools were used in this study (i) the Personnel characteristics data questionnaire (ii) Burnout scale (iii) Intention to leave (v) Organizational justice. The finding of the present study revealed that there were negative statistically significant correlations between organizational justice and intension turnover and organizational justice, burnout. In addition, there were fair positive statistically significant correlations between intension turnover and burnout. Therefore, it recommended that , it is important for the hospitals to design the strategies to improve their support to minimize the turnover intentions and burnout among staff nurses which may lead to the organizational effectiveness.
