    Possible tornado impacted the Ottawa region as a severe storm swept through on July 29th breaking a heat wave in place for many days over the area. Damage reported in a narrow line between Britannia Bay (See Brittania file) on the west side, to Montreal Road, just west of Orleans, where the heaviest damage occurred. Brief sporadic touchdowns possible, or strong downbursts as the storm was noted to be “capricious” in nature
