CRM with Eemphasis on the Social Networks
This master thesis focuses on the issue of CRM with emphasis on the Social Networks. The aim is to create proposal and implementation of the application for SCRM. The first part contains theoretical background of the domain of CRM and also introdution of widespread Social Networks. The theoretical part of this thesis puts the system in a wider context and describes the sircumstances that led to the evolution of CRM into SCRM.
The practical part of this thesis compares existing solutions for CRM for small and middle companies by selected parameters. Later on basic features and parameters of CRM system are specified based on the comparison of existing solutions. In the following chapters analysis, proposal and implementation of SCRM system are being formed. Finally there is summary of executed trial run of implemented application.460 - Katedra informatikyvýborn

Ultrasmooth gold surfaces prepared by chemical mechanical polishing for applications in nanoscience
For over 20 years, template stripping has been the best method for preparing ultrasmooth metal surfaces for studies of nanostructures. However, the organic adhesives used in the template stripping method are incompatible with many solvents, limiting the conditions that may subsequently be used to prepare samples; in addition, the film areas that can be reliably prepared are typically limited to ∼1 cm2. In this article, we present chemical-mechanical polishing (CMP) as an adhesive-free, scalable method of preparing ultrasmooth gold surfaces. In this process, a gold film is first deposited by e-beam evaporation onto a 76-mm-diameter silicon wafer. The CMP process removes ∼4 nm of gold from the tops of the grains comprising the gold film to produce an ultrasmooth gold surface supported on the silicon wafer. We measured root-mean-square (RMS) roughness values using atomic force microscopy of 12 randomly sampled 1 μm × 1 μm areas on the surface of the wafer and repeated the process on 5 different CMP wafers. The average RMS roughness was 3.8 ± 0.5 Å, which is comparable to measured values for template-stripped gold (3.7 ± 0.5 Å). We also compared the use of CMP and template-stripped gold as bottom electrical contacts in molecular electronic junctions formed from n-alkanethiolate self-assembled monolayers as a sensitive test bed to detect differences in the topography of the gold surfaces. We demonstrate that these substrates produce statistically indistinguishable values for the tunneling decay coefficient β, which is highly sensitive to the gold surface topography
Callous–Unemotional Traits and Disorganized Attachment: Links with Disruptive Behaviors in Toddlers
Children with callous–unemotional (CU) traits and children with disorganized attachment patterns are at heightened risk of poor psychological outcomes but little is known about the overlap between these constructs and their unique contributions to conduct problems in early childhood. This study examined associations between CU traits, disorganized attachment, and conduct problem (CP) severity in a sample of clinic-referred toddlers with behavioral problems. Mother–child dyads (n = 56; mean child age 19.50 months) completed parent-report questionnaires, a dyadic play session, and the Strange Situation Procedure to assess child attachment pattern. Significant positive associations were found between CU traits and disorganized attachment, independent of CP severity. CU traits but not disorganized attachment predicted CP severity. Results indicate that among toddlers with clinic-referred disruptive behavior problems, there are clear links between CU traits and attachment disorganization. Of the two constructs, however, CU traits appear to be most salient in the expression of CPs
ERLANG-BASED SENSOR NETWORK MANAGEMENT FOR HETEROGENEOUS DEVICES
The paper describes a system designed to manage and collect data from the network of heterogeneous sensors. It was implemented using Erlang OTP and CouchDB for maximum fault tolerance, scalability and ease of deployment. It is resistant to poor network quality, shows high tolerance for software errors and power failures, operates on flexible data model. Additionally, it is available to users through an Web application, which shows just how easy it is to use the server HTTP API to communicate with it. The whole platform was implemented and tested on variety of devices like PC, Mac, ARM-based embedded devices and Android tablets
Endovascular Treatment for Acute Stroke Patients With a Pre-stroke Disability: An International Survey
Background: It is unclear what factors clinicians consider when deciding about endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) in acute ischemic stroke patients with a pre-existing disability. We aimed to explore international practice patterns and preferences for EVT in patients with a pre-stroke disability, defined as a modified Rankin score (mRS) ≥ 2.
Methods: Electronic survey link was sent to principal investigators of five major EVT trials and members of a professional interventional neurology society.
Results: Of the 81 survey-responding clinicians, 57% were neuro-interventionalists and 33% were non-interventional stroke clinicians. Overall, 64.2% would never or almost never consider EVT for a patient with pre-stroke mRS of 4-5, and 49.3% would always or almost always offer EVT for a patient with pre-stroke mRS 2-3. Perceived benefit of EVT (89%) and severity of baseline disability (83.5%) were identified as the most important clinician-level and patient-level factors that influence EVT decisions in these patients.
Conclusion: In this survey of 80 respondents, we found that EVT practice for patients with pre-stroke disability across the world is heterogenous and depends upon patient characteristics. Individual clinician opinions substantially alter EVT decisions in pre-stroke disabled patients
Pathophysiologic Findings of Irritable Bowel Syndrome in China
The mechanism of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is still incompletely understood in the world although large amount of investigations have been carried out on it. There are many studies on the pathophysiology of IBS in China, which has huge amount of population suffering from IBS with special ethnicity and culture, including Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. We collected the literatures to show the results and discuss whether there were any differences in the pathophysiologic findings between China and other countries, whether there were any differences among different subtypes and how the pathophysiology correlated with the manifestations of patients. Gene polymorphism, disturbances of gastrointestinal motility, visceral hypersensitivity, intestinal infection and inflammation, psychological disturbances, food hypersensitivity and intolerance, and altered gut microflora were reviewed in this paper. Some conflicting outcomes between China and other countries were noted although most of them were similar
