Behoerdenfuehrer - Zustaendigkeiten im Umweltschutz

In an introductory chapter the administrative structure and authorities' responsibility for the protection of the environment in the Federal Republic of Germany are explained in a summary. Particular attention is paid to the local environmental protection authorities which are mostly the first contact for the citizen. The fields of environmental protection are introduced with a short description of the legal foundations and the type of public work to do. The tasks are sub-divided according to the responsibility of the Federal Government or the Governments of the individual federal states in alphabetical order. At the end of the authorities' guide the names, addresses and telephone numbers of general information offices for inquires and complaints are listed. (orig.)In einem Einfuehrungskapitel werden der Verwaltungsaufbau und die Behoerdenzustaendigkeiten fuer Umweltschutz in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland zusammenfassend erlaeutert. Dabei wird auf die kommunalen Umweltschutzbehoerden, die fuer den Buerger zumeist die ersten Ansprechpartner sind, besonders eingegangen. Die Aufgabenbereiche des Umweltschutzes werden mit einer kurzen Beschreibung der gesetzlichen Grundlagen und der Art der oeffentlichen Aufgaben eingeleitet. Unterteilt sind die Aufgabenbereiche jeweils nach den Zustaendigkeiten des Bundes und der einzelnen Bundeslaender in alphabetischer Reihenfolge. Am Schluss des Behoerdenfuehrers werden allgemeine Auskunftsstellen fuer Anfragen und Beschwerden mit Anschrift und Telefonnummer mitgefuehrt.
