Soft Contribution to Quark-Quark Scattering Induced by an Anomalous Chromomagnetic Interaction
We calculate the soft contribution to high energy quark-quark scattering that
arises from an instanton-induced quark anomalous chromomagnetic moment. We
demonstrate that this is a large contribution, which cannot be neglected for
transverse momenta of a few GeV. We discuss the influence of this effect on
inclusive particle production.Comment: 4 pages, 2 figure
Instanton Contribution to Polarized and Unpolarized Gluon Distribution in Nucleon
The contribution of the anomalous quark-gluon interaction induced by
instantons to the polarized and unpolarized gluon distributions in nucleon is
estimated. It is shown that this interaction leads to negative gluon
polarization in nucleon.Comment: 9 pages, Latex, 3 figures. Talk presented at DIS97 Workshop, April

Instanton Effects in Annihilation
It is shown that specific spin-flavour properties of the nonperturbative
interaction between quarks induced by instantons allow us to explain the
peculiarities of the OZI rule violation in annihilation. New
experiments to test the instanton mechanism of the OZI rule violation are
proposed.Comment: 11 pages, Late
Instantons and Single Spin Asymmetries
A new mechanism for single spin asymmetries in strong interaction is
proposed. It is based on instanton-induced nonperturbative chromomagnetic
quark-gluon interaction. We estimate the contribution of this interaction to
single spin asymmetry in quark-quark scattering. It is shown, that interference
between quark spin-flip amplitude induced by instantons and spin-nonflip
amplitude, which is related to nonperturbative two gluon exchange, gives a
large value for a single spin asymmetry. Due to strong increasing of the
instanton-induced spin-flip amplitude with energy, this asymmetry does not
vanish at high energies.Comment: 7 pages, Latex, 2 figures. To appear in Proc. Workshop ``Physics with
Polarized Protons at HERA'' August 1997,DESY-Zeuthe
Hard diffraction and proton spin problem
It is shown, that the hard component of quarks distribution functions induced
by instantons gives the essential contribution to hard diffractive processes.
We predict large polarization effects in these processes.Comment: Preprint FUB-HEP/93-99, 7 pages+5 figures (accessible by request
Anomalous Quark Chromomagnetic Moment Induced by Instantons
It is shown that the quark-gluon interaction induced by instantons leads to
the quark anomalous chromomagnetic moment. In the instanton-liquid model for
the QCD vacuum, the chromomagnetic moment is ,
where f is the packing fraction of instantons in the vacuum.Comment: 5 pages, Latex, no figures. Talk presented at the XIII International

A New Mechanism for Single Spin Asymmetries in Strong Interactions
It is shown that the contribution of the instantons to the fragmentation of
quarks leads to the appearance of a imaginary part in diagrams of quark-quark
scattering at large transfer momentum. The imaginary part comes from the
analytical continuation of the instanton amplitudes from Euclidean to Minkowsky
space-time and reflects quasiclassical origin of instanton solution of QCD
equations of motion. This phenomenon and instanton--induced quark spin-flip
give a new nonperturbative mechanism for the observed anomalous single-spin
asymmetries in hadron-hadron and lepton-hadron interactions.Comment: 8 pages, 3 figures, Latex; final version to appear in JETP Let
Charge Symmetry Breaking in Pion-Nucleon Coupling Constants Induced by Axial Anomaly
The contribution of axial anomaly to charge symmetry breaking in pion-nucleon
coupling constants is calculated within instanton model for QCD vacuum. It has
been demonstrated that the contribution is large and allows to explain
Nolen-Schiffer anomaly.Comment: 4 pages. Contribution to "Sense of Beauty in Physics - a volume in

Anomalous violation of the OZI-rule in the , reactions and instantons
It is shown, that specific properties of the instanton induced interaction
between quarks leads to the anomalous violation of the OZI-rule in the , reactions. In the framework of
instanton model of the QCD vacuum, the energy dependence of the cross sections
of these reactions is calculated.Comment: 13 pages, 3 figure
Nonlocality of the Nucleon Axial Charge and Solar Neutrino Problem
It is shown that the specific space distribution of the nucleon axial charge
may lead to the significant reduction of the cross section of the reaction
and may provide the mechanism to explain observed deficit of
solar neutrinos.Comment: 4 pages, 1 figure, Late
