Rearing of viable juveniles of the Black Sea turbot in experimental conditions

Procedures and conditions on the Black Sea turbot Psetta maeotica (Pallas) rearing from artifically fertilized eggs upto the age of 240 days in experimental conditions are described. Transition to a bottom mode of life occurs at the age of 45-50 days, metamorphosis completes on days 70-80.
