Monitoring the process of anodising of VW70U pistons using the control chart
The process of anodising of aluminium pistons has been analysed. The analysis has been conducted with the use of a control chart, which is one of the traditional quality management tools. Its purpose is consistent and effective elimination of faults by means of identification of their actual causes and applying appropriate preventive measures. It has been determined that even the most complex control chart, the X̅ and R chart, can indicate problems within the anodising process and contribute to its improvement
The perception and the real differentiators of family businesses
W artykule, na tle rozważań teoretycznych szeroko rozumianego sektora family business, przedstawiono wyniki badań obrazujące zgodność samoklasyfikacji podmiotów do grupy rodzinnych na tle klasyfikacji przeprowadzonej za pomocą wskaźnika Substantial Family Influence. Następnie zaprezentowano rezultaty pokazujące hierarchię ważności czynników budujących wskaźnik SFI, z której wynika, że kluczowym twardym wyróżnikiem firm rodzinnych jest udział w kapitałach własnych, mniej istotnym wpływ na zarządzanie, a najmniej ważnym oddziaływanie kontrolne na firmę.The aim of the study is to show how enterprises perform the self-classification to the sector of family businesses. The considerations are based on the self-classification related to the Substantial Family Influence ratio (SFI). Subsequently, there were presented the results that show the importance of the components constructing the SFI ratio. The results reveal the gradation of SFI’s components. The most important ingredient is the equity stake of the family in the company, the second, of minor importance is the influence on the executive processes or the Board of the firm, and the third one is the influence on the Supervisory Board
