    Studies on the influence of islamic law in Indonesia can be one basis for muslims to define the future strategy of the Indonesian nation closer or familiarizing with Islamic law that has the effect of legal politic in Indonesia. At least it show sthat the influence of the process of Islamization of a society is nothing that can be completed immediately, but the center of attention is focused on the legal position of Islam can influence on legal politic in Indonesia whic his polarized in the establishment of the legal system. Political policy in the law not only in legal proceedings that will be and are being enforced but includes also the law that have occurred, have practical purposes to allow positive legislation can be better formulated so as to provide guidance not only on legislation but also to the Courts as an organizer or as an implementing decision. This has been experienced by the people of Indonesia since the era Dutch colonial that changed significantly when the Indonesian republic independent on 17 of August 1945, because they have to adjust in accordance with applicable law and the constitutional foundation the state ideology of Pancasila and the Constitution of 1945 or a law that is built upon the activity and creativity based upon ideals that is sourced on the cultural values of the nation which has long since evolved to the present

    The problem of this research is the weaknees of student's learning result of sains subject. It show from 24 student's, 14 students (58,33%) have lower score, and it only 10 student's (41,66%) have average score 63. The KKM of this school is 70. According to that problem, the research by implementing cooperative learning model type group investigation. In cycle I, the percentage of teachers activity in first meeting is adguate 58,33%. In second meeting, teachers activity significatly increased to 66,66% with good category. In cycle 2, firts meeting was a very good category 83,33% and second meeting indicated a very good category 91,66%. Meanwhile, the activityof student's also imvroved. In cycle I indicated 54,16% in adequatecategory and in cycle 2 has increased up to 62,50% with good category. In cyle 2, first meeting, the activity of student's has been increasing to 75% with goog category and second meeting indicated very good category 87,50%. An average score of student's 63 it increased to 70,83 in cycle I, and 76,25 in cycle 2. In classical completeness, cycle 1 and cycle 2 achieved. In conclussion, implementatation cooperative learning model group investigation teacin can improve student's learning result of five grade students of SD Negeri 49 Tameran Kecamatan Bengkalis Kabupaten Bengkalis in sains subject

    Symbol Reinterpretation as a Motivation for Integration of Chinese Muslim Ethnic Identity

    This study focuses on research with a phenomenological approach regarding the symbolic meaning of the ethnic Chinese Muslim identity at the Lautze 2 Mosque in Bandung City, which focuses on concluding the meaning of ethnic symbols in Chinese New Year as a means to integrate in the form of friendship and participation with the Chinese extended family; the meaning of Ethnic Symbols in Feng Shui which is still used and believed among Chinese Muslims; the meaning of the ethnic symbols in the lion dance which is still preserved as an art in various Chinese performances and endeavors; and the meaning of ethnic symbols in the Lucky Cat, which is still practiced in some Chinese Muslim circles, and is valued as part of the wisdom of the Chinese ancestor.  The study attempted to remain integrated with a more significant initial ethnic identity. For Chinese Muslims, family ties or relatives are essential in maintaining friendly relations, and believing Islam is the teachings of rahmatan lil 'alamiin. In addition, there is a reinterpretation of the symbols of Chinese ethnicity as a form of strengthening the identity of the Chinese Muslim ethnic group. This study can be used as theoretical knowledge in the form of theoretical conception to enrich the theories of the study of religions to assess the religious phenomenon associated with symbols of ethnic identity and religious identity, even acculturation between newcomers and natives. In addition, practically from the research, it is suggested to be an academic consideration for various government policies to build inter-religious harmony and harmony between ethnicities and groups, especially regarding religious conversion and belief and taboo issues in Indonesia

    Burden and Depression among Caregivers of Visually Impaired Patients in a Canadian Population

    Purpose/Background. This study reports the degree of burden and the proportion at risk for depression among individuals who provide care to visually impaired patients. Study Design. This is clinic-based, cross-sectional survey in a tertiary care hospital. Methods. Caregivers were considered unpaid family members for patients whose sole impairment was visual. Patients were stratified by vision in their better seeing eye into two groups: Group 1 had visual acuity between 6/18 and 6/60 and Group 2 were those who had 6/60 or worse. Burden was evaluated by the Burden Index of Caregivers and the prevalence of being at risk for depression was determined by the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression scale. Results. 236 caregivers of 236 patients were included. Total mean BIC scores were higher in Group 2. Female caregivers, caregivers providing greater hours of care, and caregivers of patients who have not completed vision rehabilitation programs are at higher risk for depression
