Flavor Tagging at Tevatron incl. calibration and control
This report summarizes the flavor tagging techniques developed at the CDF and
D{\O}experiments. Flavor tagging involves identification of the B meson flavor
atproduction, whether its constituent is a quark or an anti-quark. It is
crucial for measuring the oscillation frequency of neutral B mesons, both in
the B^0 and B_S system. The two experiments have developed their unique
approaches to flavor tagging, using neural networks, and likelihood methods to
disentangle tracks from decays from other tracks. This report discusses
these techniques and the measurement of B^0 mixing, as a means to calibrate the
taggers.Comment: 6 pages, 7 Figures, Write-up for Beauty 2006 Conference proceeding

B^0_s mixing at D0 experiment
In this report, we present a report on B{sub s}{sup 0} mixing studies at the D0 experiment. New results based on use of two additional decay modes are discussed and limits are given on the B{sub s}{sup 0} mixing parameter
Combination of Tevatron Searches for the Standard Model Higgs Boson in the W(+)W(−) Decay Mode
This is the publisher's version, also available electronically from http://journals.aps.org/prl/abstract/10.1103/PhysRevLett.104.061802.We combine searches by the CDF and D0 Collaborations for a Higgs boson decaying to W(+)W(−). The data correspond to an integrated total luminosity of 4.8 (CDF) and 5.4 (D0) fb(−1) of pp-bar collisions at s√=1.96  TeV at the Fermilab Tevatron collider. No excess is observed above background expectation, and resulting limits on Higgs boson production exclude a standard model Higgs boson in the mass range 162–166 GeV at the 95% C.L

Search for Pair Production of Doubly Charged Higgs Bosons in the H(++)H(−−)→μ(+)μ(+)μ(−)μ(−) Final State
This is the publisher's version, also available electronically from http://journals.aps.org/prl/abstract/10.1103/PhysRevLett.101.071803.We report the results of a search for pair production of doubly charged Higgs bosons via pp-bar→H(++)H(−−)X→μ(+)μ(+)μ(−)μ(−)X at s√=1.96  TeV. We use a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.1  fb(−1) collected from 2002 to 2006 by the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. In the absence of an excess above the standard model background, lower mass limits of M(H(±±)(L))>150  GeV/c(2) and M(H(±±)(R))>127  GeV/c(2) at 95% C.L. are set, respectively, for left-handed and right-handed doubly charged Higgs bosons assuming a 100% branching ratio into muons

Search for Large Extra Dimensions via Single Photon plus Missing Energy Final States at s√=1.96  TeV
This is the publisher's version, also available electronically from http://journals.aps.org/prl/abstract/10.1103/PhysRevLett.101.011601.We report on a search for large extra dimensions in a data sample of approximately 1  fb(−1) of pp-bar collisions at s√=1.96  TeV. We investigate Kaluza-Klein graviton production with a photon and missing transverse energy in the final state. At the 95% C.L. we set limits on the fundamental mass scale M(D) from 884 to 778 GeV for two to eight extra dimensions
Search for Decay of a Fermiophobic Higgs Boson h(f)→γγ with the D0 Detector at s√=1.96  TeV
This is the publisher's version, also available electronically from http://journals.aps.org/prl/abstract/10.1103/PhysRevLett.101.051801.We report the results of a search for a narrow resonance decaying into two photons in 1.1  fb(−1) of data collected by the D0 experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider during the period 2002–2006. We find no evidence for such a resonance and set a lower limit on the mass of a fermiophobic Higgs boson of m(hf)>100  GeV at the 95% C.L. This exclusion limit exceeds those obtained in previous searches at the Fermilab Tevatron and covers a significant region of the parameter space B(hf→γγ) vs mhf which was not accessible at the CERN Large Electron-Positron Collider
Search for W′ Boson Resonances Decaying to a Top Quark and a Bottom Quark
This is the publisher's version, also available electronically from http://journals.aps.org/prl/abstract/10.1103/PhysRevLett.100.211803.We search for the production of a heavy W′ gauge boson that decays to third generation quarks in 0.9  fb(−1) of pp-bar collisions at s√=1.96  TeV, collected with the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron collider. We find no significant excess in the final-state invariant mass distribution and set upper limits on the production cross section times branching fraction. For a left-handed W′ boson with SM couplings, we set a lower mass limit of 731 GeV. For right-handed W′ bosons, we set lower mass limits of 739 GeV if the W′ boson decays to both leptons and quarks and 768 GeV if the W′ boson decays only to quarks. We also set limits on the coupling of the W′ boson to fermions as a function of its mass
