Constraints on Hidden Photon Models from Electron g-2 and Hydrogen Spectroscopy
The hidden photon model is one of the simplest models which can explain the
anomaly of the muon anomalous magnetic moment (g-2). The experimental
constraints are studied in detail, which come from the electron g-2 and the
hydrogen transition frequencies. The input parameters are set carefully in
order to take dark photon contributions into account and to prevent the
analysis from being self-inconsistent. It is shown that the new analysis
provides a constraint severer by more than one order of magnitude than the

Comment on "General Method to Determine Replica Symmetry Breaking Transitions"
In a recent letter Marinari et al [Phys. Rev. Lett. 81, 1698 (1998)]
introduced a new method to study spin glass transitions and argued that by
probing replica symmetry (RS) as opposed to time reversal symmetry (TRS), their
method unambiguously shows that replica symmetry breaking (RSB) occurs in
short-range spin glasses. In this comment we show that while the new method is
indeed useful for studying transitions in systems where TRS is absent (such as
the p-spin model studied by them), the conclusion that it shows the existence
of RSB in short-range spin glasses is wrong.Comment: 1 page, RevTe

Calculation of the energy levels of Ge, Sn, Pb and their ions in the approximation
Energy levels of germanium, tin and lead together with their single, double
and triple ionized positive ions have been calculated using the
approximation suggested in the previous work (Dzuba, physics/0501032) (M=4 -
number of valence electrons). Initial Hartree-Fock calculations are done for
the quadruply ionized ions with all valence electrons removed. The core-valence
correlations are included beyond the second-order of the many-body perturbation
theory. Interaction between valence electrons is treated by means of the
configuration interaction technique. It is demonstrated that accurate treatment
of the core-valence correlations lead to systematic improvement of the accuracy

Multi-Frequency Magnonic Logic Circuits for Parallel Data Processing
We describe and analyze magnonic logic circuits enabling parallel data
processing on multiple frequencies. The circuits combine bi-stable (digital)
input/output elements and an analog core. The data transmission and processing
within the analog part is accomplished by the spin waves, where logic 0 and 1
are encoded into the phase of the propagating wave. The latter makes it
possible to utilize a number of bit carrying frequencies as independent
information channels. The operation of the magnonic logic circuits is
illustrated by numerical modeling. We also present the estimates on the
potential functional throughput enhancement and compare it with scaled CMOS.
The described multi-frequency approach offers a fundamental advantage over the
transistor-based circuitry and may provide an extra dimension for the Moor's

Reply to "Comment on Evidence for the droplet picture of spin glasses"
Using Monte Carlo simulations (MCS) and the Migdal-Kadanoff approximation
(MKA), Marinari et al. study in their comment on our paper the link overlap
between two replicas of a three-dimensional Ising spin glass in the presence of
a coupling between the replicas. They claim that the results of the MCS
indicate replica symmetry breaking (RSB), while those of the MKA are trivial,
and that moderate size lattices display the true low temperature behavior. Here
we show that these claims are incorrect, and that the results of MCS and MKA
both can be explained within the droplet picture.Comment: 1 page, 1 figur
International trade and economic development: Can foreign direct investment be predicted?
It would appear obvious that not all countries and industries are equally good business recruitment targets for the state’s economic development efforts. However, partly due to data limitations, little detailed research has been done to clarify how a state might direct its recruitment strategies to those industries and countries more likely to be seeking foreign direct investment (FDI) opportunities within the United States. This paper is a move toward rectifying this deficiency.
