Formation and characterization of CuInSe 2 nanoparticles

    No full text
Combining electrodeposition and sonochemistry technique, the formation of CuInSe 2 (CIS) nanoparticles from aqueous solution containing citrate as complexing agent is reported. The surface morphology and the composition of the deposited nanocristallites are characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The texture of the deposits and their compositions are analyzed by X-ray diffraction. A line scan analysis technique is used to confirm the results obtained with other techniques. The formation of CuInSe 2 nanocristallites with a chalcopyrite structure is observed. The nanocristallites size diameter ranging between 6 and 30 nanometers is reported. Elaboration and Characterization of Sprayed Tb-Doped ZnO Thin Films

    No full text
ZnO and Tb-doped ZnO (TZO) thin films were deposited on glass substrate at 350 °C by spray pyrolysis technique. Structural, optical and electrical properties of the films were investigated as a function of dopant concentration, which was varied between 0 and 5 at % of terbium. TZO films were polycrystalline and exhibit hexagonal quartzite crystal structure with a preferential orientation along 2 direction. The AFM measurements show that the roughness of the films increased with Tb doping. All the TZO films exhibit a transmittance between 70 and 80 % in the visible range. The TZO films were n-type degenerate semiconductor with a lowest electrical resistivity of about 6.0´10- 2 W.cm
