Controlling effect on the economic security of engineering enterprise conducting foreign economic activity
The article deals with interrelation of the enterprise economic security and its
financial stability factors, and with problems concerning Ukrainian engineering
enterprises financing. It also grounds the direct and multiplicative results on the
controlling introduction into the system of the engineering enterprise foreign economic
activity management, and it suggests methodic of their quantitative estimation. On the
basis of prognosticated calculations made for some Ukrainian enterprises, the authors
prove that controlling is able to force engineering enterprise economic security
conducting foreign economic activity, through financial factors normalization at the
enterprise. There were formed two alternative strategies to spend financial receipts,
caused by controlling introduction, there was fixed a connection concerning
effectiveness of the strategies use with initial meaning of the enterprise financial factors.

Necessities versus ethical considerations – the realities of COVID-19 and the moral strain they enforce on society
INTRODUCTION:After the initially chaotic and sporadic worldwide response to the COVID-19 pandemic, measures and strategies against the spread of this modern-time plague are getting shape and are relatively well adopted. In this environment, we witness the process of hard re-prioritization of needs, re-allocation of resources and some strict means to limit certain freedoms and actions. On the ethical ground, issues of social justice and individual rights are colliding in the shape of a conflict between infringement of rights and violation of rights. In this humanitarian crisis, we observe yet another confrontation of public against individual interest.AIM:The aim of this article is to bring up for discussion from an ethical standpoint freedoms and ultimately rights - in light of the current precautionary measures and the way they affect our social interactions.MATERIALS AND METHODS:Ethical analysis and documental research was conducted, including approved World Health Organization (WHO) statistics and data, experts’ reports, action recommendations, guidelines for measures, and standards of care in a pandemic situation.RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONThere are different approaches among people towards the pandemic, hence leading to attitudes spanning from indifference and ignorance, to conspiracy suspicions. Others believe that their rights are being unjustly violated. Even though some government strategies suggest debatable - on ethical grounds measures - we need to reconsider our typical expectations of social justice, priorities, and autonomy. Rights and freedoms need to be flexible in contexts of mass disasters, just like our attitude needs to be. To ensure their application in times of peace and prosperity, we need to be ready to give away some of them in times of crisis/pandemic
Provision of sustainable economic business development by improving the health and safety at work
Sustainability is a concept and practice within the plans for managing of people, organizations, corporations and even governments for the common development path of the present and future generations in the process of search of a better quality of life.

Patient data and big data. An “ownership” overview through the fundamental principles in biomedical ethics
INTRODUCTION:Given the big data information reality today, global health systems are able to operate with seemingly endless amounts of information. But there are a lot of avenues for its use - for clinical care, patient history, medical and pharmaceutical research, commercial profit. Many stakeholders with different aspirations are interested, and they are all using patients’ data. This fact brings the tricky question about ownership of the information in the current “big” context. In terms of the ethical considerations related to autonomy, non-maleficence, beneficence, and justice, this question gets even trickier. AIM:The aim of this article is to briefly outline the concept of patient information ownership in the big data information context through the prism of the bioethical principles of autonomy, non-maleficence, beneficence, and justice. MATERIALS AND METHODS:Ethical analysis and documental research, including normative acts, philosophical literature and studies have been used. RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONPatients’ data is a valuable resource in many ways, which requires certain distinctions on moral grounds: the interest in profit, if the information is used as a commercial artefact, and the “ideal” use for the needs of medical and scientific research. In the current information and economics context, it is indeed very hard to determine exactly where to draw the line between commercial and ideal use, but we need to ensure that properly managed medical data could be used for important medical enterprises. In light of the biomedical principles, there is a way to balance the individual interests related to privacy and autonomy with the general public interest in medical science development and improvement.
Latent Mastoiditis And Facial Paralysis In A Child As Complications After A Coxsackie Virus Infection. Clinical Case
Coxsackie virus infection usually presents with mild to moderate clinical manifestations. Within 10 - 14 days a complete cure is achieved. The development of complications occurs rarely. We present a clinical case of “mouth-hand-foot“ disease in a 3-year-old child who developed complications of the lung, heart, middle ear, and facial nerve. The disease develops on undamaged terrain. Complications occur after a 30-day light period from the viral infection, which is treated on an outpatient basis. The appearance of complications and the child’s sharply deteriorated general condition become a reason for hospitalization. After the medical and surgical treatment, the child was discharged healthy, without medical risk.Acute suppurative otitis media after a coxsackie virus infection is not common. Complaints may be atypical and therefore missed. The diagnosis is made late, after complications have occurred
Integer Programming Approach to HP Folding
One of the most widely studied protein structure prediction models is the hydrophobic-hydrophilic (HP) model, which explains the hydrophobic interaction and tries to maximize the number of contacts among hydrophobic amino-acids. In order to find a lower bound for the number of contacts, a number of heuristics have been proposed, but finding the optimal solution is still a challenge. In this research, we focus on creating a new integer programming model which is capable to provide tractable input for mixed-integer programming solvers, is general enough and allows relaxation with provable good upper bounds. Computational experiments using benchmark problems show that our formulation achieves these goals. This work was supported by NFSR of Bulgaria, projects DOO2-162/16.12.2008, DOO2-135/31.07.2009 and DO 02-35
