Efecto de la frecuencia de inmersi贸n y la disponibilidad de medio de cultivo en la multiplicaci贸n del cultivar h铆brido FHIA-21 (Musa AAAB) en sistemas de inmersi贸n temporal
The present work had as objectives to study the effect of the immersion frequency and the availability of culture medium per shoot in the multiplication of the cultivar hybrid FHIA-21 using temporary immersion systems. It was demonstrated that it is possible to multiply this plant material in systems with culture flasks of two different capacities, obtaining superior results than in semisolid culture medium. A multiplication rate of 4.95 was achieved with flasks of 1.0 litre of capacity after 25 days of culture with four immersions a day, while the best results with temporary immersion systems of 10 litres of capacity were also obtained with four immersions a day, but using 50 ml of culture medium per shoot, reaching a total of 370 shoots by temporary immersion systems and a multiplication rate of 6.16. It was proven that the shoot of cultivar hybrid FHIA-21 could be multiplied during several successive subcultures in these systems and the presence of hiperhydrated shoot was not observed.Key words: automation, banana, liquid culture mediumEl presente trabajo tuvo como objetivos estudiar el efecto de la frecuencia de inmersi贸n y la disponibilidad de medio de cultivo por brote en la multiplicaci贸n del cultivar h铆brido FHIA-21 con el uso de sistemas de inmersi贸n temporal. Se demostr贸 que es posible multiplicar este material vegetal en sistemas con frascos de cultivo de dos capacidades diferentes y que los resultados que se pueden obtener son superiores a los obtenidos en medio de cultivo semis贸lido. Con frascos de 1.0 litro de capacidad se logr贸 un coeficiente de multiplicaci贸n de 4.95 con cuatro inmersiones al d铆a despu茅s de 25 d铆as de cultivo, mientras que los mejores resultados con sistemas de inmersi贸n temporal de 10 litros de capacidad se lograron tambi茅n con cuatro inmersiones al d铆a, pero con 50 ml de medio de cultivo por brote, con lo cual se alcanz贸 un total de 370 brotes por sistema de inmersi贸n temporal y un coeficiente de multiplicaci贸n de 6.16. Se comprob贸 que los brotes del cultivar h铆brido FHIA-21 puedieron ser multiplicados durante varios subcultivos sucesivos en estos sistemas y no se observ贸 la presencia de brotes hiperhidratados.Palabras clave: automatizaci贸n, medio de cultivo l铆quido, pl谩tan
