    Часопис архитектура и урбанизам - библиометријска анализа

    The paper presents the research based on an analysis of bibliometric indicators with the aim to indicate the main characteristics and importance of the scientific journal Arhitektura i urbanizam. The paper provides a timeframe for the publication of the journal in the period 1994-2018, as well as a list of editors-in-chief and technical editors. It also points out an increasing visibility of articles available in the electronic databases in a format of a full-text, as well as the significance of electronic publishing. The data on the number of published papers, categorization of papers, number of authors, affiliation of authors, average number of references per paper, keyword frequency, as well as language in which articles were published, were analysed for the period between 2009 (from issue 26) and 2018 (to issue 46), and the obtained results are shown in the accompanying tables and graphs. In the considered period, 250 authors, out of which almost all were from Serbia, published 139 categorized single-authored (49.64%) and co-authored (50.36%) papers. The average number of references per article was 22.27. The analysis of keyword shows that the most frequent themes dealt with in the articles were in the fields of architecture, climate change and sustainable development. The research was carried out through a direct insight in all journal issues, thus achieving the authenticity of the presented data. The obtained results, as well as the categorization of the journal by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, confirm the role and importance the Arhitektura i urbanizam journal has amongst the researchers in the fields it covers, but also point to the need for bilingual publication of articles, thus providing a greater international visibility, enabling the inclusion of reviewers from abroad and attracting a greater number of foreign authors.Radom je predstavljeno istraživanje koje se zasniva na analizi bibliometrijskih pokazatelja, a sa ciljem da se ukaže na osnovne karakteristike i značaj naučnog časopisa Arhitektura i urbanizam. Dati su vremenski okvir izlaženja časopisa od 1994. do 2018. god. i prikaz glavnih i tehničkih urednika, a ukazano je i na sve veću vidljivost radova dostupnih u elektronskim bazama u formatu punog teksta, kao i na značaj elektronskog objavljivanja. Zatim su, za vremenski period od 2009. (od broja 26) do 2018. god. (do broja 46) analizirani podaci o broju objavljenih radova, njihovoj kategorizaciji, broju autora, afilijaciji autora, prosečnom broju referenci po radu, o učestalosti pojavljivanja ključnih reči i jeziku na kom su radovi objavljeni, a dobijeni rezultati su izneti u pratećim tabelama i grafikonima. U posmatranom periodu 250 autora, od kojih su gotovo svi iz Srbije, objavilo je 139 kategorizovnih radova, jednoautorskih (49,64%) i koautorskih (50,36%). Prosečan broj navedene literature po radu iznosi 22.27 referenci. Na osnovu analize ključnih reči utvrđeno je da se najčešće zastupljene teme obrađivane u tekstovima odnose na arhitekturu, klimatske promene i održivi razvoj. Istraživanje je sprovedeno neposrednim uvidom u sve brojeve časopisa, čime je obezbeđena verodostojnost navedenih podataka. Dobijeni rezultati, kao i kategorizacija časopisa od strane Ministarstva prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja Republike Srbije, potvrđuju ulogu i značaj koji časopis Arhitektura i urbanizam imaju među istraživačima iz naučnih oblasti koje ovaj časopis pokriva, ali i ukazuju na neophodnost dvojezičnog objavljivanja radova koje bi obezbedilo veću međunarodnu vidljivost, omogućilo uključivanje recenzenata iz inostranstva i privuklo veći broj inostranih autora.Радом је представљено истраживање које се заснива на анализи библиометријских показатеља, а са циљем да се укаже на основне карактеристике и значај научног часописа Архитектура и урбанизам. Дати су временски оквир излажења часописа од 1994. до 2018. год. и приказ главних и техничких уредника, а указано је и на све већу видљивост радова доступних у електронским базама у формату пуног текста, као и на значај електронског објављивања. Затим су, за временски период од 2009. (од броја 26) до 2018. год. (до броја 46) анализирани подаци о броју објављених радова, њиховој категоризацији, броју аутора, афилијацији аутора, просечном броју референци по раду, о учесталости појављивања кључних речи и језику на ком су радови објављени, а добијени резултати су изнети у пратећим табелама и графиконима. У посматраном периоду 250 аутора, од којих су готово сви из Србије, објавило је 139 категоризовних радова, једноауторских (49,64%) и коауторских (50,36%). Просечан број наведене литературе по раду износи 22.27 референци. На основу анализе кључних речи утврђено је да се најчешће заступљене теме обрађиване у текстовима односе на архитектуру, климатске промене и одрживи развој. Истраживање је спроведено непосредним увидом у све бројеве часописа, чиме је обезбеђена веродостојност наведених података. Добијени резултати, као и категоризација часописа од стране Министарства просвете, науке и технолошког развоја Републике Србије, потврђују улогу и значај који часопис Архитектура и урбанизам имају међу истраживачима из научних области које овај часопис покрива, али и указују на неопходност двојезичног објављивања радова које би обезбедило већу међународну видљивост, омогућило укључивање рецензената из иностранства и привукло већи број иностраних аутора

    Setting the Distance: Theoretical Practice of Milan Zlokovic and its Material Corollaries

    In architectural practice of Milan Zloković there exists a curious division between his prewar orientation towards building and his postwar emphasis on theoretical research. However, the distinction between these two fields of his work is not that simple and unequivocal. The particular aim of this paper is to explore this vague relationship in Zloković’s postwar practice by focusing on his late project of the Tourist Settlement in Ulcinj and the previous preparatory work at the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning in Belgrade. The analysis reveals Zloković’s precise understanding of concrete problems of contemporariness and exposes his position in the specific context of Yugoslav modernism as truly autonomous yet deeply engaged

    Upravljanje Prirodoslovnom zbirkom Gimnazije Karlovac: pripreme za izložbu 2016. i planovi za budućnost

    The Natural History Collection of Karlovac Gymnasium is one of the oldest and most important school collections in Croatia and is protected as a part of our cultural heritage. For the 250th school anniversary it has been decided to present its contents to the public. Before the exhibition the collection was prepared and restored. This included: determining the initial state of the collection, inventory of the collection, changing the outdated species nomenclature in accordance with modern systematics, determining its value, digitization and restoration. The results showed that there were 1153 items in the collection, 635 (55%) of which were damaged. For 613 (53%) items the data were known. Only biological items were categorized according to their cultural heritage value and 100 (17%) of them have an expert, 336 (56%) an educational and 161 (27%) a historical category. The conclusion is that the collection has been neglected and demands extensive restoration and a suitable storage environment in order to reach its full potential.Prirodoslovna zbirka Gimnazije Karlovac jedna je od najstarijih i najznačajnijih školskih zbirki u Hrvatskoj te je zaštićena kao kulturno dobro. Za 250. godišnjicu škole odlučeno je prezentirati njen sadržaj javnosti. Prije izložbe zbirka je pripremljena i obrađena. To je uključivalo: pregled stanja očuvanosti, inventarizaciju, usklađivanje zastarjelih naziva s modernom sistematikom, vrijednosnu kategorizaciju, digitalizaciju i restauraciju. Rezultati su pokazali da zbirka ima 1153 predmeta, od toga oštećenih 635 (55%). Samo za 613 (53%) predmeta su poznati podatci i autor. Vrijednosno su kategorizirani isključivo biološki predmeti od kojih 100 (17%) ima stručnu, 336 (56%) obrazovnu i 161 (27%) povijesnu kategoriju. Zaključak je da se zbirka nalazi u zapuštenom stanju i zahtijeva opsežnu restauraciju i adekvatan smještaj kako bi se ostvario njezin puni potencijal

    MONTESORI METODA – OSNOVA INTEGRISANOG UČENJA MATEMATIKE

    This research offers a theoretical comparative analysis of the Montessori Method and integrative teaching. Current trends call for incorporation of an integrative approach into educational practice. From the constructivists’ cognitive perspective knowledge is constantly changing, and results from acting and thinking. Maria Montessori developed an approach which is intellectually challenging and motivating. It develops a creative, flexible, authentic and constructive personality. In this paper we focus on theoretical aspects of both Montessori Method and integrative approach and look for compatible elements. We pay special attention to effects of the Montessori Method on development of mathematical aspects of reasoning. Our argument is that preschool Montessori Method has the capacity to become the basis for an integrative school approach. This provides a smooth move from early childhood learning to school learning. We point to the similarity of learning goals. Also, we pay attention to features of productive environments created within these two Methods for mathematics learning. In the light of the analysis, we suggest common features of the Montessori Method and integrated curriculum approach which have positive effects on mathematics learning. Finally, we draw some educational and curricular research questions. Our argument is that the Montessori Method presents natural prerequisites for integrated learning. We conclude that together they fulfil the social need for functional knowledge and holistic approach to a child’s development.Rad nudi teorijsku komparativnu analizu Montesori metode i integrativne nastave. Savremene tendencije ukazuju na potrebu uključivanja integrativnog pristupa u obrazovnu praksu. Sa stanovišta konstruktivizma znanje se neprestano menja i rezultat je akcije i razmišljanja. Marija Montesori je razvila metod koji je intelektualno provokativan i motivišući. Njime se razvija kreativna, fleksibilna, autentična i konstruktivna ličnost. U ovom radu, mi smo se fokusirali na teorijske aspekte obe metode: Montesori metode i integrativne metode tražeći kompatibilne elemente. Posebnu pažnju posvetili smo efektima Montesori metode na razvoj matematičkog mišljenja. Mi pružamo argumentaciju u prilog teze da predškolski Montesori pristup ima kapacitet da bude osnova integrativnog učenja u školi. On predstavlja gladak prelazak sa ranog učenja na školsko učenje. Ukazujemo na sličnost ciljeva ucenja. Takodje, posebnu pažnju posvećujemo sredini kreiranoj u ova dva pristupa posebno pogodnoj za učenje matematike. U svetlu date analize, ukazujemo na zajedničke osobenosti Montesori metode i integrativne metode koji imaju pozitivan efekat na učenje. Konačno, mi ukazujemo na neka obrazovna i kurikularna istraživačka pitanja. Naš stav je da Montesori metoda predstavlja prirodnu osnovu za integrativo učenje. Zaključujemo da zajedno one mogu ispuniti potrebu društva za funkcionalnim znanjima i holističnim razvojem dece

    Publishing and spatial planning - the driving role of the institute through the prism of the journal Savremene urbanističke teme (1961-1981)

    This paper emphasises the role of people who have been employed at the Institute of Architecture and Urban & Spatial Planning of Serbia as well as a number of its external associates in the development of spatial planning in Serbia. It highlights the significance of the publishing role of the Institute, which goes hand in hand with its work on scientific research and professional projects, with a special focus on the journal Savremene urbanističke teme (Engl. Contemporary Urban Themes), one of its five serial publications. This journal is significant because it published analytical and study articles, translations, critical reviews, and reviews of important achievements in urban and spatial planning at a time when spatial planning in Serbia was still in its pioneering phase, which resulted in the launch of ambitious projects with a wider social impact. The important contribution of this paper is the bibliography of the journal Savremene urbanističke teme, as well as four accompanying registers that present all of the authors of its texts and all of the published titles

    Simulating Train Dispatching Logic with High-Level Petri Nets

    Railway simulation is commonly used as a tool for planning and analysis of railway traffic in operational, tactical and strategical level. During the simulation, a typical problem is a deadlock, i.e. a specific composition of trains on a simulated section positioned in such a way that they are blocking each other\u27s paths. Deadlock avoidance is very important in the simulation of railways because deadlock can stop the simulation, and significantly affect the simulation results. Simulation of train movements on a single track line requires implantation of additional rules and principles of train spacing and movement as train paths are more often in conflict than on a double track line. A High-level Petri Nets simulation model that detects and manages train path conflicts on a single track railway line is presented. Module for train management is connected to other modules on a hierarchical High-level Petri net. The model was tested on a busy single track mainline between Hrpelje-Kozina and Koper in south-western Slovenia
