The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Transcranial direct current stimulation on Imagery ability in students. By semi-experimental method sixty students was selected from physical education students of University of Tehran and by at available sampling method and assigned into four groups: sham (control) and anodal (tests) (each of 15) for P4 and F4 point. Then, Participants were asked to perform MIQ-3 before and after transcranial direct current stimulus. Data analyze showed that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test of all variables and it was revealed that there is a significant difference between the two groups of anodal and sham in both P4 and F4 points in motor Imagery and internal Imagery. In examining the difference between the two points, P4 and F4, there was no significant difference between the two points for the effectiveness of the illustrative capability. Based on the findings of the present study, it is suggested that tDCS at one of the P4 or F4 points should be used as a strategy to improve and enhance the ability of internal mental imagery in athletes as well as patients for rehab

Objective: In this study, the personality characteristics of neuroticism, extraversion, and openness to new experiences, consensus, and task of male and female athletes were compared in a team and individual sports. Methods: 160 athletes (13 athletes dropped out) were selected from professional athletes in two disciplines (75 men: 39 men and 36 women) and group (72 men: 41 men and 31 women) in Kerman province. The athletes were asked to complete the NEO-FFI questionnaire for 60 questions. For data analysis, descriptive statistics including mean and standard deviations ... and inferential statistics: independent t-test were used. Results: The findings of the study showed that the athletes' score in group sports in agreement, extraversion and task is significantly higher than individual sports. Individual athletes had a high risk of neuroticism, and athletes had a lower score than men in all of the components except for neuroticism. Conclusion: It can be concluded that the personality characteristics of male and female athletes and team and individual athletes are different. It is hoped that this research will be conducted at different ages, communities, and disciplines, and the results will be reported

Objectives: This study aimed to examine Musculoskeletal Pains (MPs) among newly admitted university students and investigate the effect of gender differences on the prevalence of MPs. Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 2641 university students (1303 men, 1338 women). The study data were collected from the Health Center of the University of Tehran in the fall of 2019. Musculoskeletal pains in students were examined using the Nordic questionnaire. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and the Chi-squared test. Results: The highest prevalence rates of MPs in the past 12 months, past 7 days, and problems that inhibited routine activities in the past 12 months were reported in the neck area (13.4%, 5.8%, and 10.5%, respectively), and the lowest rates in the elbow (1.5%, 0.6%, and 1%, respectively). Findings also indicated a significant difference between men and women regarding MPs in the neck and shoulders in all three items of the Nordic questionnaire (P<0.05). Discussion: Based on these results, it is necessary to prevent musculoskeletal pains, especially in the neck and back, among the newly admitted students to the university
