Microcolumn LC om metal (III) chemical bonded stationary phases : part 2 : retention behaviour of phenols, naphtalene derivatives and aromatic amines

The separation of some phenol, naphtalene derivatives and aromatic amines by microLC on columns packed with 8-quinolinol silicagel - Me(III) or thenoyltrifluoroacetone silicagel - Me(III) loaded stationary phases is described. The influence of the nature of the metal (Fe-III-; Cr-III-; Eu-III-), of the nature of the ligand to which the metal is bonded, of the mobile phase composition and of the flow rates, have been studied. Some correlations between the structure of the solutes and retention data have been made
