    Abstract In 2008, we purchased modern laboratory equipment (dataloggers, sensors and autopipettors) and began an ongoing overhaul of our entry-level chemistry laboratory program. Our goal was to take advantage of the superior sensitivity and automated data recording and analysis afforded by the new equipment, to improve pedagogy and to save time and money.
