Narration in Technical Communication

Non-literary texts are being interpreted and studied as narratives to great ad vantage in many, diverse fields. In contrast, narration is widely devalued among teachers and researchers of technical communication. This devalua tion is unwarranted in light of the complexity, pervasiveness, and potential power of narration in technical communication.
