With globalization of industries, organizations have deviated from conventional teams and relaxed the limits on temporal and spatial boundaries to consider distributed and flexible work arrangements within teams to maximize their benefits. Different researchers have stepped in to find out the attributes of distributed teams that distinguish them from their collocated counterparts and proffer solutions that could mitigate them. Shared context and flexible work hours are among the major challenges that have been subject to various studies. Here we have critically looked at most of the popular and recent studies on these subjects to bring together different viewpoints of various studies. Our findings generally supported the claim that dissimilar contexts and flexible work hours are challenges that are well pronounced among distributed teams. Finally, we made suggestions on the missing gaps in the existing research that will require further research

The health industry is truly blossoming with promise as wearables, biofeedback, and digital health tracking is gaining sophistication and popularity, with far reaching implications for patients and medical professionals. Historically, these sorts of medical devices could be used for treatment for phantom limbs [1], physical therapy [2], pain management [3], attention [4], incontinence [5], and sleep disorders [6]. Very recently, in the past few years there has been an outpouring of increased interest and availability of more modern, advanced, and accessible wearable devices. Truly, we are witnessing the dawn of wearable computers. Diabetes is a serious medical condition that affects around 20% of Americans, and that number increases every year. It is the 7th leading cause of death in the US, and comes with a bevy of comorbid conditions like stroke, blindness, kidney disease, and amputations. It also comes with a hefty $245 billion medical treatment cost each year [9]. This does mean, however, that there is a huge and hungry market needing better, more accurate treatment and constant data collection for medical providers. This case will report of the brightest technologies available currently, and we’ll assess their value to the market to predict which should be adopted for the most impact

Parents will use any and all means to protect their infants, and would want the peace of mind of knowing that their baby is safe against dangers like SIDS, choking, crib dangers, and others. Supporting their mission “To improve people’s lives through meaningful innovation”, Philips has developed Mimo, a smart and accurate baby monitor that helps moms and dads get the reassurance they need to rest better. Mimo Smart Baby Monitor provides all the information parents want, whenever they want, and wherever they are in the world. The monitor is a machine washable outfit with respiration sensors that provides a constant stream of data about a baby’s sleep activity, breathing pattern, body position, skin temperature, and live audio, sent to an iPhone, iPad, or Android, and in realtime. The sensors do not actually touch the baby’s sensitive skin to make it safer. Mimo’s main targeted customers are first time parents who tend to be more concerned about infants health and needs, and busy parents who need to rest better at night in order to be more effective during the workday. Conjoint Analysis was used to figure out the customer needs; Mimo aims to meet those needs at a lower price point compared to the competitors. Philip’s direct and indirect channels of distribution that exists in different parts of the world will be leveraged on in the distribution of the product. In addition, multiple media outlets such as social media, television, and baby magazines, will be used to achieve the needed level of reach and awareness. We are forecasting to capture 30% of baby monitor’s market by the end of 2020
