Spontaneous Debulking of a Large Skull Base Mass: Case Report

    No full text
Pituitary adenomas are among the most common intracranial tumors often managed using a watch and wait strategy. Most adenomas either remain static or increase in size. Spontaneous shrinkage of adenomas is extremely rare. In the handful of times that this phenomenon has been reported, it has been almost exclusively in the context of apoplexy, viral infection, or medication. To our knowledge, this is the second case in the English literature of a spontaneously regressing of a non-secreting adenoma of occult etiology
