The focus of this research includes: first, how the marketing strategy is applied by the airline concept of low cost carrier in PT. Garuda Indonesia Citilink. Second, how does the impact of low cost carrier implementation on the company competition. The method used is qualitative with descriptive research type. The data is collected with documentation, observation, and interview techniques. Sources of data derived from primary data through interviews with informants from PT. Garuda Indonesia Citilinks' employee, while secondary data is extracted from internet sites and other related reports. Data analysis method uses Miles and Huberman data analysis model which is data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion. The result of marketing strategy research which is applied by PT. Garuda Indonesia Citilink is good enough in terms of Porter's competitive theory analysis. The company is able to attract new customers and retain old customers by improving service quality, providing continuous innovation, optimizing the efficiency process to provide a better service to customers. PT. Garuda Indonesia Citilink in the last few years, experienced rapid growth in terms of the number of passengers, flight frequency, and flight routes, because the cheap ticket prices provided more affordable for low average consumers

Kinerja Lpg Pada Motor Bakar 6,5 Hp Sebagai Bahan Bakar Alternatif Perahu Penangkap Ikan (Performance of Liquefied Petroleum Gas for 6,5 Hp Engine as an Alternative Fuel in Small Motorized Fishing Boat)

This research was to analyze the technical effect of LPG compared to the gasoline bymeasuring the engine and exhaust temperature, to calculate the fuel saving (efficiency) for a singletrip by measuring the specific fuel consumption, and to explicate the cost benefit from the use ofLPG compared to the gasoline for fishing operation. During the experimental test, the engine speedwas maintained at idling conditions of 1600, 2000, and 2500rev/min. Technically, the engine andexhaust temperature decrease when running on LPG. The use of LPG as an alternative fuel togasoline can save on fuel consumption up to 26,35% and LPG makes operational cost moreefficiently due to the lower value of FC than that of gasoline. For a single trip, the cost from LPGspecific fuel consumption (sfc) value resulted Rp 5.610 while the gasoline resulted higher valuewhich makes Rp 9.632. With the difference of Rp 4.022, LPG can save cost as much as 41,76%where cost savings in fuel expenditure can be used to reimburse the purchasing cost of converterkit for 41,5 months or 3,46 years

Pengaruh Pasang Surut terhadap Pengendapan Lumpur di Lahan Sawah Rawa Kawasan Sungai Barito Kalimantan Selatan

Swamp land has a great potential to be developed as a paddy field area. However it has many constraints such as-phyrite (FeS2) at the depth of 30–60 cm and lack of soil nutrition. On the other hand, supply of marine clay from the sea which contains a lot of smektit clay mineral can be used to netralize this condition. Mud clay is very important for the development of rice root because it contains much nutrition and to enlarge the top of soil reducing the oxidation of phyrite. This study was conducted from January 2016 to June 2017 in swamp land area of Barito River of South Kalimantan. Data was collected by measuring the difference between maximum and minimum sea tide (tidal amplitude) and the deposition of mud clay. The results indicated that the distribution of mud clay deposit vary depends on the geography and the tidal amplitude of the zone. Zone VII has higher concenration of mud clay than the other one. The distribution pattern of mud clay deposit follows the parabola type, verticaly and horizontaly type, as well. Increasing of mud clay at all of the zone areas are not significantly effected by the daily tidal amplitude, only depends on climate condition/the season change

Investigating the Role of Non-Coding RNA in Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) are RNA molecules that do not code for protein but play key roles in regulating cellular processes. NcRNAs globally affect gene expression in diverse physiological and pathological contexts. Functionally important ncRNAs act in chromatin modifications, in mRNA stabilization and translation, and in regulation of various signaling pathways. Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a set of conditions caused by the accumulation of triacylglycerol in the liver. Studies of ncRNA in NAFLD are limited but have demonstrated that ncRNAs play a critical role in the pathogenesis of NAFLD. In this review, we summarize NAFLD’s pathogenesis and clinical features, discuss current treatment options, and review the involvement of ncRNAs as regulatory molecules in NAFLD and its progression to non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). In addition, we highlight signaling pathways dysregulated in NAFLD and review their crosstalk with ncRNAs. Having a thorough understanding of the disease process’s molecular mechanisms will facilitate development of highly effective diagnostic and therapeutic treatments. Such insights can also inform preventive strategies to minimize the disease’s future development

A Role of Oral Bacteria in Bisphosphonate-induced Osteonecrosis of the Jaw

No consensus has yet been reached to associate oral bacteria conclusively with the etio-pathogenesis of bisphosphonate-induced osteonecrosis of the jaw (BONJ). Therefore, the present study examined the effects of oral bacteria on the development of BONJ-like lesions in a mouse model. In the pamidronate (Pam)-treated mice, but not control non-drug-treated mice, tooth extraction followed by oral infection with Fusobacterium nucleatum caused BONJ-like lesions and delayed epithelial healing, both of which were completely suppressed by a broad-spectrum antibiotic cocktail. Furthermore, in both in vitro and in vivo experiments, the combination of Pam and Fusobacterium nucleatum caused the death of gingival fibroblasts (GFs) and down-regulated their production of keratinocyte growth factor (KGF), which induces epithelial cell growth and migration. Therefore, in periodontal tissues pre-exposed to bisphosphonate, bacterial infection at tooth extraction sites caused diminished KGF expression in GFs, leading to a delay in the epithelial wound-healing process that was mitigated by antibiotics
