Il Codice dell'amministrazione digitale: come evolve la normativa

Government offices have changed in recent years, providing modern services using new ICT tools. The E-government Code has now created the legislative framework necessary to give legal value to innovations reorganising procedures and services and introducing entirely electronic procedure management. The Code is therefore a complex reform, a kind of "constitution" for the digital world, which takes into account citizens and businesses rights and government obligations. A White Paper, commissioned by the Minister for Innovation and Technologies and prepared by the Interministerial Working Group for document dematerialisation using digital support, looks at the economic benefits and greater efficiency to be gained from transforming paper documents to digital format

LA DEMATERIALIZZAZIONE DELLA DOCUMENTAZIONE AMMINISTRATIVA - LIBRO BIANCO DEL GRUPPO DI LAVORO INTERMINISTERIALE PER LA DEMATERIALIZZAZIONE DELLA DOCUMENTAZIONE TRAMITE SUPPORTO DIGITALE

La gestione dei documenti amministrativi vale per il 'Sistema Italia' oltre il 2% del Pil ed un obiettivo di trasferire appena il 10% dalla carta su supporti digitali, ossia la dematerializzazione, genererebbe un risparmio annuo di 3 mld di euro, ripetibile ogni esercizio successivo. A porre in evidenza la convenienza non solo economica, ma anche in termini di maggiore efficienza e di miglioramento dei servizi offerti ai cittadini e alle imprese, senza entrare nell’aspetto ambientale ed ecologico, è il 'Libro Bianco sulla dematerializzazione della documentazione amministrativa', voluto dal Ministro per l’Innovazione e le Tecnologie Lucio Stanca, e coordinato dal prof. Pierluigi Ridolfi, componente del CNIPA e presidente dello specifico Gruppo di lavoro, e presentato a Milano alla conferenza Omat sulla gestione elettronica

Challenges to long term digital preservation a glimpse of the italian experience

In this paper an overview of the challenges to long term preservation of digital objects is given. We highlight threats, which can be posed by humans, hardware/software, environment and institutions to long term digital preservation systems, with specific emphasis to security threats. Some technological solutions are described, and the Italian experience on long term digital preservation is briefly described. © 2009 IEEE
