    Application of Drip Irrigation System on Vanilla Cultivation in Jogoyudan Village, Lumajang Regency.

    Background: The sluggish economic condition, low community income, yards that have not been managed optimally, lack of training, workshops and courses to improve entrepreneurship skills for residents are examples of problems that exist in Jogoyudan Village, Lumajang District, Lumajang Regency. Vanilla cultivation in the yard can be used as an alternative solution for empowering the community's economy. The availability of water is one of problem of vanila’s cultivation. Drip irrigation can be used to solve these problem. Contribution: This activity will increase the community's ability to cultivate vanilla and make drip irrigation. Through this activity, it is hoped that the community will get additional income from the vanilla cultivation business. Method: The method used is training and direct practice. At the end of the activity, a survey will be conducted to determine the level of satisfaction of the participants in the vanilla cultivation and drip irrigation training using the Kirkpatrick method. Results: The results of this service program shows that 80% of participants considered this activity very useful, and would apply it in their yard. The survey results also showed that the participants were very satisfied with the facilitator (83%), facilities (92%), speakers (88%) and the materials provided (76%). All participant feel the benefits and ready to apply the technology provided in their yards. Conclusion: Vanilla cultivation with drip irrigation are carried out to optimize existing and unused yards, so that the land can provide economic value to the community
