Phantom Space-times in Fake Supergravity
We discuss phantom metrics admitting Killing spinors in fake N=2, D=4
supergravity coupled to vector multiplets. The Abelian U(1) gauge fields in the
fake theory have kinetic terms with the wrong sign. We solve the Killing spinor
equations for the standard and fake theories in a unified fashion by
introducing a parameter which distinguishes between the two theories. The
solutions found are fully determined in terms of algebraic conditions, the
so-called stabilisation equations, in which the symplectic sections are related
to a set of functions. These functions are harmonic in the case of the standard
supergravity theory and satisfy the wave-equation in flat (2+1)-space-time in
the fake theory. Explicit examples are given for the minimal models with
quadratic prepotentials.Comment: 11 page
The Generalized Distance Spectrum of the Join of Graphs
Let G be a simple connected graph. In this paper, we study the spectral properties of the generalized distance matrix of graphs, the convex combination of the symmetric distance matrix D(G) and diagonal matrix of the vertex transmissions Tr(G) . We determine the spectrum of the join of two graphs and of the join of a regular graph with another graph, which is the union of two different regular graphs. Moreover, thanks to the symmetry of the matrices involved, we study the generalized distance spectrum of the graphs obtained by generalization of the join graph operation through their eigenvalues of adjacency matrices and some auxiliary matrices
Pelatihan pembuatan sabun cair cuci tangan untuk mencegah penyakit covid-19 dan hepatitis pada sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Parigi Moutong
Community service carried out by providing training in making liquid hand washing soap in elementary schools is the first step that can be taken to prevent Covid-19 and Hepatitis in elementary school children. The community service activities are carried out using various methods, namely by identifying or surveying existing partners, providing counseling and providing the practice of making liquid hand washing soap. The number of participants in community service was 30 participants consisting of students and teachers. The results of the community service activities, the participants welcomed enthusiastically and made an active contribution in participating in the training activities with the hope that the participants could carry out the stages of making liquid hand washing soap independently from the training that had been given
Adaptive feedforward control design for gust loads alleviation and LCO suppression
An adaptive feedforward controller is designed for gust loads alleviation and limit cycle oscillations suppression. Two sets of basis functions, based on the finite impulse response and modified finite impulse response approaches, are investigated to design the controller for gust loads alleviation. Limit cycle oscillations suppression is shown by using the modified finite impulse response controller. Worst case gust search is performed by using a nonlinear technique of model reduction to speed up the costs of calculations. Both the “one–minus–cosine” and Von Kármán continuous turbulence gusts of different intensities were generated to examine the performance of controllers. The responses of these two types of gust can be reduced effectively by finite impulse response controller in the whole process, while the modified finite impulse response controller is found to increase the loads during the initial transient response. The above two types of gust induced limit cycle oscillations were used to test the modified finite impulse response controller. Results show that it can suppress limit cycle oscillations to some exten
Guaranteed Minimum-Rank Solutions of Linear Matrix Equations via Nuclear Norm Minimization
The affine rank minimization problem consists of finding a matrix of minimum
rank that satisfies a given system of linear equality constraints. Such
problems have appeared in the literature of a diverse set of fields including
system identification and control, Euclidean embedding, and collaborative
filtering. Although specific instances can often be solved with specialized
algorithms, the general affine rank minimization problem is NP-hard. In this
paper, we show that if a certain restricted isometry property holds for the
linear transformation defining the constraints, the minimum rank solution can
be recovered by solving a convex optimization problem, namely the minimization
of the nuclear norm over the given affine space. We present several random
ensembles of equations where the restricted isometry property holds with
overwhelming probability. The techniques used in our analysis have strong
parallels in the compressed sensing framework. We discuss how affine rank
minimization generalizes this pre-existing concept and outline a dictionary
relating concepts from cardinality minimization to those of rank minimization
