THE EVALUATION OF HEPATIC FIBROSIS IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC HEPATITIS C, USING THE FIBROMAX AND FIBROSCAN TECHNIQUES
This article represents an insight on the latest techniques used for determining the degree of hepatic fibrosis
in patients with chronic hepatitis C – the FibroMax and FibroScan techniques, by not only evaluating their
results, but also by comparing and contrasting them. We studied 16 patients, diagnosed and treated in the
Infectious Diseases Hospital “Victor Babes” from Craiova, with different degrees of fibrosis (F2-F4) and of
viral inflammation (A0-A1-A3). The FibroScan results varied between 7.8 and 66.4 kPa. Also, 11 from the
16 patients showed a correspondence between the FibroTest (F) of the FibroMax determination result and
the one obtained at FibroScan. Thus, the two methods, although each of them is extremely important, are
recommended to be used together for a more accurate quantification of the hepatic fibrosis degree in patients
with chronic hepatitis C
Methods and Devices to Improve the Complex Human Being Functioning
The research presents in the first part of the article an original experiment recorded with a Thermo-Vision camera. It reveals the possibility of the human being to direct energy inside the own body but also to the exterior, to heal other persons. The subject, the first author of this article, sent continuously energy to his palms about five minutes. During this time the temperature of his hands grew with more than two degrees Celsius. The subject did not move at all. The energy can be thus directed then further to other persons in need, to help them recover their health. The second part of the article reveals how our inventions rewarded with a lot of gold medals and not only, the Bio-Chips Doctor Tech, can be used to improve the human general state. A very significant experiment is presented, where with the help of these devices the first author of the paper reached for example a general balance of 99.98%. The third set of measurements presented in the article was made by means of three original types of Keshe devices. The first author of the article changed the energy at the level of the own third eye by means of the devices and could significantly improve his own state. These results are also presented in the last part of this article. For the second and the third sets of measurements, the general state of the person was evaluated by means of a Bio Well device. All the three previous types of the measurements are very original and suggestive for how we can help the others. The general purpose of the article is to show that we can do more in different ways for the others, about their health, their level of energy and their level of performance
Adsorption of Sb (III) on Oxidized Exfoliated Graphite Nanoplatelets
In this work, Sb (III) adsorption on oxidized exfoliated graphite nanoplatelets (ox-xGnP) was evaluated for the first time, to the best of our knowledge. The ox-xGnP were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Brunauer⁻Emmet⁻Teller (BET) analysis, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) equipped with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), and Zeta potential analysis. The adsorption parameters, such as pH and contact time, were optimized, and the best adsorption capacity obtained was 8.91 mg g−1 at pH = 7.0, 1.0 mg ox-xGnP/100 mL solution, T = 293 K, 1.0 mg L−1, Sb (III), 25 min contact time. The best correlation of the kinetic data was described by a pseudo-first-order kinetic model, with R2 = 0.999. The adsorption isotherms of Sb (III) onto ox-xGnP were best described by the Langmuir isotherm model. The thermodynamic parameters showed that the adsorption process was exothermic and spontaneous
