    Positive reduction from spectra

We study the problem of whether all bipartite quantum states having a prescribed spectrum remain positive under the reduction map applied to one subsystem. We provide necessary and sufficient conditions, in the form of a family of linear inequalities, which the spectrum has to verify. Our conditions become explicit when one of the two subsystems is a qubit, as well as for further sets of states. Finally, we introduce a family of simple entanglement criteria for spectra, closely related to the reduction and positive partial transpose criteria, which also provide new insight into the set of spectra that guarantee separability or positivity of the partial transpose.Comment: Linear Algebra and its Applications (2015

ENVIRONMENTAL AUDIT, A POSSIBLE SOURCE OF INFORMATION FOR FINANCIAL AUDITORS

    Get PDF
The purpose of this article is to present certain aspects regarding environmental auditand how it is perceived by the accounting profession, especially by financial auditors. The mainobjectives taken into account when writing the article was to define the concept of environmental audit,to present how financial auditors get involved within environmental audit, both internationally and inRomania. The scientific approach is based on information from national literature, European andinternational practice regarding environmental audit and the implication of accounting professionalsin this activity. The results of the research conducted in this paper have shown that the accountingprofession at international level, such as the case of New Zeeland, as well as at national level, is onlyslightly involved in environmental audit due to the fact that this type of audit is an activity that is notmandatory, being used for the entity’s own use as opposed to financial audit, which is mandatory andis stipulated by accounting regulations in force and is standardized.environmental audit, financial audit, environmental aspects, accounting profession

STUDY CONCERNING THE EVOLUTION OF VINEYARDS IN THE NORTH WEST REGION OF ROMANIA AND IN CLUJ COUNTY

The study regarding the evolution of the vineyard surfaces on private property forms, in the North West development region as well as in Cluj Country, over the period 1990-2019, provides the creation of the main image describing the direction of development in the vine- and viticultural field, an important component of agriculture.Such an orientation has already emerged:the viticulture will be organized within the territorial limits of traditional areas. In the future, we foresee the establishment of new viticultural plantations, in areas with oenological potential. In Cluj Country, there is a fovourable direction in the development of viticultural areas. In 1990, the private form of vineyards was timidly represented, later it is described as a debut for the establishment of new vineyards in Cluj County, in Turda, on the Durgău hills, a place where vineyards have been cultivated for thousands of years. (Potaissa). In recent years, we can see an association between the culture of the vine and the tourist component of these areas, created and developed similarly within the local and regional tradition (from Transylvania)

Relationship between daily rumination time, physical activity, estrus and metabolic changes in dairy cows

The present study attempted to ascertain whether there is any connection between reduced daily rumination time and increased physical activity of the animals, on the one hand, and the presence of estrus or metabolic disorders in dairy cows, on the other hand. It has been observed that of the total of 168 cows, 55 (32.73%) showed decreased daily rumination time, 57 cows (33.92%) had specific manifestations for estrous period, while 25 cows (14.88%) showed both decreased daily rumination time and the presence of estrus. Statistical assessment of the data demonstrated a highly significant correlation between these two factors, with a p-value <0.05 (p = 0.0369). Regarding the correlation between increased physical activity, found in 40 cows (23.80%) and the presence of estrus, observed in 57 cows (33.92%) this one is extremely statistically significant with a p-value <0.001 (p = 0.0005), the combination of increased physical activity and estrus being detected in a total of 23 cows (13.69%). Thus, of 168 dairy cows taken into the study, 37 (22.02%) showed an association between decreased daily rumination time and increased physical activity, resulting in a extremely statistically significant correlation between the combination of the two events and the presence of estrus in cows, with a p-value <0.001 (p = 0.0003). Metabolic disorders were found in a total of 12 dairy cows (7.14 %), the association between decreased daily rumination time and increased physical activity being not statistically correlated with the development of metabolic disorders, p = 0.4676 . It remains to be observed if a correlation between the association of decreased daily rumination time and increased physical activity with the presence of metabolic disorders exists
