Requirements of the actual framework of directives of the European Union as well as national legal enactments demand the realization of systematic activities within the scope of risk management; and the task is to export to market such devices for which the value of residual risk is within the range of acceptable risk and to finally realize the steps of technical and human risk valuation in existing workplaces as well. These requests were the incentive for members of the realization team for development of a knowledge system which would be able to realize the selected method of risk valuation as a part of the preparation of production documentation to be realized by the system of computer aid for the technological preparation of the production program Sysklass. This solution realizes the approach of concurrent engineering where together during product development can be realized the steps which reveal the errors that may later appear as the source of an unfavorable event in the form of death, health hazards, technical system damage or environmental damage. Properties of the proposed and created knowledge system predict its usage in both the educational area during student training at our university and in technical praxis in the environment of safety management of smaller and middle-sized companies.

The Increased Production Efficiency and Optimization Terms of Stationarity by Flat Grinding with Abrasive Circle Surface

This scientific work deals with the production area. The paper investigates the problems related to the uneven abrasive effect on the processed surface by flat grinding with the abrasive circle surface, and the analytical expression of pattern distribution of the working abrasive grain within the limits of various technological primitives and inaccuracy of geometric shape have been determined. The ways of stationary provision of the grinding surface have been suggested. This paper also focuses on the economic efficiency of the production

Orientation of the Model in SLS Printing and its Influence on Mechanical Properities

    Get PDF
The contribution is characterized by the method of sterolography used in the production of models, in our case the test samples from two chosen materials, standard and tough. It deals with the mechanical tests of these samples created by the Form 1+ stereolithography device and with the orientation of the print layers during its production on its resulting mechanical properties. At the end, we describe the statistical method of processing Zwick 1387 measurement results

Comparison of process documentation generation in PTC Creo and NX systems

Process documentation is a specific type of progressive form for representation of the technological documentation which defines the sequence of the individual production steps on the chosen machine according to a pre-executed NC program. It is represented by a simplified form of automatically generated reports in a short time interval. The significant contribution of the creation is in the acceleration of communication between the designer and the technologist, as well as NC machine operators with the possibility of archiving and managing internal data. The article briefly describes and compares the creation of process documentation in the PTC Creo system and in the NX system environment

Research of Dynamic Characteristics of Bearing Reducers of the TwinSpin Class in the Start-Up Phase and in the Initial Operating Hours

This paper describes the results of research in the field of monitoring dynamic characteristics of the TwinSpin cycloid bearing reducer made by SPINEA. The research in this area resulted from the requirement to monitor the condition of high-precision bearing reducers and to assess the non-linear behavior of the kinematic structures of the monitored bearing reducers, specifically to determine the optimal start-up time of a particular bearing reducer class and to plan its maintenance. The condition of contact surfaces in the operational process was identified, and the lubricant applied to the monitored class of reducers was assessed. Analyses of the applied lubricant were carried out in order to identify and monitor changes in the technical condition of the bearing reducer. The aim of the measurements was to verify the start-up time of the bearing reducer, to assess the correlation between the total content of iron particles in the lubricant and an increase in kinematic backlash in the engagement of cycloidal wheels and reducer bearings after start-up and after about 1000 h of operation, and to propose recommendations to the operator for the implementation of short-term dynamic vibration, noise, and temperature tests before the reducer itself is put into operation

Application of industrial robot in 5-axis milling process

Present in machining creates constantly new requirements to increase economic efficiency, productivity and product quality. With this advancement, industry is no longer focusing only on commonly used machining technologies, but is paying increasing attention to the implementation of robots in the manufacturing process by machining. The paper describes the design of equipment for the implementation of 5-axis milling with the help of a robot arm ABB IRB 140. It describes the design of the milling head and deals with the creation of NC machining program in software Autodesk Fusion 360. The generated NC program is then used in RoboDK to create a robotic arm control program. At the end of the paper are described laboratory tests of machining using the designed prototype milling head

MONITORING DIAGNOSTIC INDICATORS DURING OPERATION OF A PRINT MACHIN

This article deals with monitoring diagnostic indicators during the operation of a machine used for production of packing materials with a print. It analyses low-frequency vibrations measured in individual spherical roller bearings in eight print positions. The rollers in these positions have a different pressure based on positioning these rollers in relation to the central roller. As a result, the article also deals with a correlation of pressure and level of measured low-frequency vibrations. The speed of the print machine (the speed of a line in meters per minute) is a very important variable during its operation, this is why it is important to verify the values of vibrations in various speeds of the line, what can lead to revelation of one or more resonance areas. Moreover, it examines vibrations of the central roller drive and measurement of backlash of transmission cogs of this drive. Based on performed analyses recommendations for an operator of the machine have been conceived
