Group-theoretic Approach for Symbolic Tensor Manipulation: II. Dummy Indices
Computational Group Theory is applied to indexed objects (tensors, spinors,
and so on) with dummy indices. There are two groups to consider: one describes
the intrinsic symmetries of the object and the other describes the interchange
of names of dummy indices. The problem of finding canonical forms for indexed
objects with dummy indices reduces to finding double coset canonical
representatives. Well known computational group algorithms are applied to index
manipulation, which allow to address the simplification of expressions with
hundreds of indices going further to what is needed in practical applications.Comment: 14 pages, 1 figure, LaTe
N=2-Maxwell-Chern-Simons model with anomalous magnetic moment coupling via dimensional reduction
An N=1--supersymmetric version of the Cremmer-Scherk-Kalb-Ramond model with
non-minimal coupling to matter is built up both in terms of superfields and in
a component-field formalism. By adopting a dimensional reduction procedure, the
N=2--D=3 counterpart of the model comes out, with two main features: a genuine
(diagonal) Chern-Simons term and an anomalous magnetic moment coupling between
matter and the gauge potential.Comment: 15 pages, Latex; one reference corrected; To be published in the Int.

Self-dual vortices in a Maxwell-Chern-Simons model with non-minimal coupling
We find self-dual vortex solutions in a Maxwell-Chern-Simons model with
anomalous magnetic moment. From a recently developed N=2-supersymmetric
extension, we obtain the proper Bogomol'nyi equations together with a Higgs
potential allowing both topological and non-topological phases in the theory.Comment: 12 pages, 9 figures, 2 tables; some typos corrected, one reference

Amplitude Damping for single-qubit System with single-qubit mixed-state Environment
We study a generalized amplitude damping channel when environment is
initially in the single-qubit mixed state. Representing the affine
transformation of the generalized amplitude damping by a three-dimensional
volume, we plot explicitly the volume occupied by the channels simulatable by a
single-qubit mixed-state environment. As expected, this volume is embedded in
the total volume by the channels which is simulated by two-qubit enviroment.
The volume ratio is approximately 0.08 which is much smaller than 3/8, the
volume ratio for generalized depolarizing channels.Comment: 13 pages, 2 figures incluided V2: homepage address is included in

Gauge Theories with Lorentz-Symmetry Violation by Symplectic Projector Method
The violation of Lorentz symmetry is studied from the point of view of a
canonical formulation. We make the usual analysis on the constraints structure
of the Carroll-Field-Jackiw model. In this context we derive the equations of
motion for the physical variables and check out the dispersion relations
obtained from them. Therefore, by the analysis using Symplectic Projector
Method (SPM), we can check the results about this type of Lorentz breaking with
those in the recent literature: in this sense we can confirm that the
configuration of space-like is stable, and the time-like
carry tachionic modes.Comment: 7 pages and no figure
4to.
