On the numerical technique of Casimir energy calculation
A non-subtractive recipe of Casimir energy renormalization efficient in the
presence of logarithmically divergent terms is proposed. It is demonstrated
that it can be applied even in such cases, when energy levels can be obtained
only numerically whereas neither their asymptotical behavior, nor the
analytical form of the corresponding spectral equation can be studied. The
results of numerical calculations performed with this method are compared to
those obtained by means of explicit subtraction of divergent terms from energy.Comment: 7 pages, 3 figures. To appear in the Procedings of the 18th

Topological and non-topological solutions in the 3-phase model of hybrid chiral bag
The 3-phase version of the hybrid chiral bag model, containing the phase of
asymptotic freedom, the hadronization phase as well as the intermediate phase
of constituent quarks, is proposed. For this model the self-consistent
solutions, which take into account the fermion vacuum polarization effects, are
found in 1+1 D. The renormalized total energy of the bag is studied as a
function of its geometry and topological (baryon) number. It is shown that in
the case of non-zero topological charge there exists a set of configurations
being the local minima of the total energy of the bag and containing all the
three phases, while in the non-topological case the minimum of the total energy
of the bag corresponds to vanishing size of the phase of asymptotic freedom.Comment: 24 pages, 9 figure
Suppression of timing errors in short overdamped Josephson junctions
The influence of fluctuations and periodical driving on temporal
characteristics of short overdamped Josephson junction is analyzed. We obtain
the standard deviation of the switching time in the presence of a dichotomous
driving force for arbitrary noise intensity and in the frequency range of
practical interest. For sinusoidal driving the resonant activation effect has
been observed. The mean switching time and its standard deviation have a
minimum as a function of driving frequency. As a consequence the optimization
of the system for fast operation will simultaneously lead to minimization of

development of perspective complex knowledge-oriented information systems and
their components are considered in the paper. The analysis of existing

Clustering in relativistic dissociation of be, c, c and n nuclei
The dissociation features in nuclear track emulsion of Be, C,
and N nuclei of 1.2 A GeV energy are presented. The data presented for
the nucleus Be can be considered as evidence that there is a core in its
structure in the form of 0 and 2 states of the Be nucleus having
roughly equal weights. Events of coherent dissociation CHe
associated with the rearrangement of the nucleons outside the
-clustering are identified. A pattern of the charge fragment topology
in the dissociation of C and N nuclei is obtained for the first
time. Contribution of the unbound nucleus decays to the cascade process
