    The human resource management problems of Uighur catering company and its counter measures

    Uygur Türkleri zengin bir yemek kültürüne sahiptir. Uzun tarihi süreçte Uygur yemekleri, Uygur Türkleri’nin her dönemde kültürel gelişimine etki eden önemli etkenlerden biridir. Çağdaş Uygur yemekleri içinde Pilav, Legmen, kebap gibi yemekler başka halklarında ilgisini çekmiş ve onlarında da sevilen yemekleri arasında yer almıştır. 2000 yılından itibaren, Uygur’da Milli firmalar açılmaya başlandı. Büyük restoranlar, lokantalar açıldı. Ama onunla beraber, KFC, MC Donald gibi batı yemek firmalarının bu bölgede açılması Uygur yemek sektörünü yeni bir tehlikeyle karşı karşıya bıraktı. Maaş, servis, temizlik açısından Uygur yemek sektöründe bir takım sorunların olması nedeniyle bazı sıkıntılar yaşanıyor. Bu yazıda öncelikle Uygur yemek sektörünün günümüzdeki durumu, personel eğitimi ve Ücret Yönetimindeki sorunları ve bunları çözmenin yöntemleri açıklanacaktır.The Uighur cuisine has a long tradition of 'food culture' among all Asian countries. Its ancient tradition of food culture is considered as an invaluable cultural heritage that is part and parcel of being a member of the Uighur community. Polo, Legmen, and Kebab are just examples of its splendid and diverse cuisines. In2000, franchising of Uighur food products have started and germinated in different key cities and regions of mainland China and other parts of East Asia. However, the franchising have also encountered difficulties in terms of administrative and management issues such as staffing, budgeting, organizing, etc.Consequently, this study focuses by empirically assessing Uighur's franchised food markets, training and development of their staff members, management matters, and remuneration system. It further addresses all of these issues and suggests solutions to decrease risks and problems it may occur in the future.

    Case report: Surgical repair for left main coronary artery to right atrium fistula with endocarditis

    Coronary artery fistula (CAF) is a rare coronary anomaly defined as a communication between coronary artery and other heart chambers or vascular structures. In this case report, a 32-year-old woman with a giant left main coronary artery to the right atrium fistula with endocarditis was presented. CAF was diagnosed by transthoracic echocardiography and subsequently confirmed by cardiac computerized tomographic and coronary angiography. The patient received antibiotic treatment for infective endocarditis for 6 weeks preoperatively. The fistula was successfully treated with surgical repair. The patient is well now after 18 months of follow-up

    Monitoring and Analysing Land Use/Cover Changes in an Arid Region Based on Multi-Satellite Data: The Kashgar Region, Northwest China

    In arid regions, oases ecosystems are fragile and sensitive to climate change, and water is the major limiting factor for environmental and socio-economic developments. Understanding the drivers of land use/cover change (LUCC) in arid regions is important for the development of management strategies to improve or prevent environmental deterioration and loss of natural resources. The Kashgar Region is the key research area in this study; it is a typical mountain-alluvial plain-oasis-desert ecosystem in an arid region, and is one of the largest oases in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China. In addition, the Kashgar Region is an important cotton and grain production area. This study’s main objectives are to quantify predominant LUCCs and identify their driving forces, based on the integration of multiple remote sensors and applications of environmental and socio-economic data. Results showed that LUCCs have been significant in the Kashgar Region during the last 42 years. Cultivated land and urban/built-up lands were the most changed land cover (LC), by 3.6% and 0.4% from 1972 to 10.2% and 3% in 2014, respectively. By contrast, water and forest areas declined. Grassland and snow-covered areas have fluctuated along with climate and human activities. Bare land was changed slightly from 1972 to 2014. According to the land use transfer matrix, cultivated land replaced grass- and forestland. Urban/built-up land mainly expanded over cultivated and bare land. LUCCs were triggered by the interplay of natural and social drivers. Increasing runoff, caused by regional climate changes in seasonal variation, and snow melt water, have provided water resources for LC changes. In the same way, population growth, changes in land tenure, and socio-economic development also induced LUCCs. However, expansion of cultivated land and urban/built-up land led to increased water consumption and stressed fragile water systems during on-going climate changes. Therefore, the selection of adaption strategies relating to climate change and oasis development is very important for sustainable development in the Kashgar Region

    The Hypothesis of “Embryonic Recall”: Mechanotransduction as Common Denominator Linking Normal Cardiogenesis to Recovery in Adult Failing Hearts

    Cardiac regeneration remains a clinical target regardless of numerous therapeutic concepts. We formulated a hypothesis claiming that periodic coronary venous pressure elevation (PICSO; Pressure controlled Intermittent Coronary Sinus Occlusion) initiates embedded, but dormant developmental processes in adult jeopardized hearts. Hemodynamics in the primitive beating heart tube is sensed transducing “mechanical” epigenetic information during normal cardiac development. In analogy mechanotransduction via shear stress and pulsatile stretch induced by periodic elevation of blood pressure in cardiac veins reconnects this dormant developmental signal, setting regenerative impulses in the adult heart. Significant increase of hemeoxygenase-1 gene expression (p < 0.001) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) (p < 0.002) as well as production of VEGRF2 in experimental infarction underscores the resurgence of developmental stimuli by PICSO. Molecular findings correspond with risk reduction (p < 0.0001) in patients with acute coronary syndromes as well as observations in heart failure patients showing substantial risk reduction up to 5 years endorsing our hypothesis and preclinical experience that PICSO via hemodynamic power activates regenerative processes also in adult human hearts. These results emphasize that our proposed hypothesis “embryonic recall” claiming revival of an imbedded albeit dormant “epigenetic” process is able not only to sculpture myocardium in the embryo, but also to redesign structure in the adult and failing heart

    Laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair for treating patients with massive hiatal hernia and iron-deficiency anaemia

    Abstract Background Massive hiatal hernias may result in extraoesophageal symptoms, including iron-deficiency anaemia. However, the role played by hiatal hernias in iron-deficiency anaemia is not clearly understood. We examined the prevalence of anaemia in patients with massive hiatal hernias and the frequency of anaemia resolution after laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair at long term follow-up. Methods Patients who underwent laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair from June 2008 to June 2019 were enrolled in this study. We collected the patients’ demographic and clinical data from their medical records, and compared the pre-surgical and post-surgical findings (at 1 week and 3 months post-surgery). All patients with adequate documentation underwent post-surgical follow-up to evaluate improvements in clinical symptoms and signs. Results A total of 126 patients with massive hiatal hernias underwent laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair. Of these, 35 (27.8%) had iron-deficiency anaemia. Anaemia was resolution in all the patients and they had significantly reduced GERD-Q scores at 3 months postoperatively (P<0.01) .The mean follow-up period was 60 months. Iron-deficiency anaemia resolution after hiatal hernia repair was achieved in 93.9% of the patients. Conclusion Anaemia is common in patients with massive hiatal hernias, and most of our patients were symptomatic because of their anaemia. Moreover, in patients with massive hiatal hernias, iron-deficiency anaemia resolution is likely after laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair

    Understanding the pathogenesis and carcinogenesis of gallbladder adenocarcinoma is important. The fifth edition of the World Health Organization&rsquo;s tumor classification of the digestive system indicates three types of preinvasive neoplasm of the gallbladder: pyloric gland adenoma (PGA), biliary intraepithelial neoplasia (BilIN), and intracholecystic papillary neoplasm (ICPN). New terminologies have also been introduced, such as intracholecystic papillary-tubular neoplasm, gastric pyloric, simple mucinous type, and intracholecystic tubular non-mucinous neoplasm (ICTN). Pancreatobiliary maljunction (PBM) poses a markedly high risk for bile duct carcinoma, which was analyzed and investigated mainly by Asian researchers in the past; however, recent studies have clarified a similar significance of biliary carcinogenesis in Western countries as well.     Tumor-Promoting Actions of HNRNP A1 in HCC Are Associated with Cell Cycle, Mitochondrial Dynamics, and Necroptosis

    Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most frequent malignancies in the world. Although increasing evidence supports the role of heterogeneous ribonucleoprotein particle A1 (HNRNP A1) in tumor progression, the function of HNRNP A1 in HCC remains unclear. Here, we focused on the role of HNRNP A1 in the development of HCC. In this study, we found HNRNP A1 participates in many aspects of HCC, such as progression and prognosis. Our results showed that HNRNP A1 is upregulated in human HCC tissues and cell lines. High expression of HNRNP A1 can promote the proliferation, migration, and invasion in HCC cells and accelerate tumor progression in mice. Moreover, we found that HNRNP A1 prevents the senescence process of HCC cells. Knocking down of HNRNP A1 promotes the expression of P16INK4, which arrests the cell cycle and then induces the senescence phenotype in HCC cells. Furthermore, we found that HNRNP A1 regulated necroptosis and mitochondrial dynamics. In summary, our study indicates that HNRNP A1 promotes the development of HCC, which suggests a potential therapeutic target for HCC
