Coherently controlled entanglement generation in a binary Bose-Einstein condensate
Considering a two-component Bose-Einstein condensate in a double-well
potential, a method to generate a Bell state consisting of two spatially
separated condensates is suggested. For repulsive interactions, the required
tunnelling control is achieved numerically by varying the amplitude of a
sinusoidal potential difference between the wells. Both numerical and
analytical calculations reveal the emergence of a highly entangled mesoscopic

Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran IPS Dengan Menggunakan Metode Diskusi Di Kelas IV SDN 12 Biau
Penelitian ini di latarbelakangi rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan metode diskusi dikelas IV SDN 12 Biau Kabupaten Buol. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan di SDN 12 Biau dengan menggunakan metode diskusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Kemmis da Mc. Taggart yang terdiri atas dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Sebelum melakukan penelitian, peneliti terlebih dahulu memberikan tes awal dengan hasil yang diperoleh yaitu ketuntasan belajar klasikal 13% dan daya serap klasikal 51,53%. Hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa yang di peroleh pada tindakan siklus I yaitu siswa 59,09% dan guru 60,41%. Kemudian pada siklus II hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa mengalami peningkatan, pada hasil observasi aktivitas guru mencapai 85,41% dan siswa mencapai 88,64%. Adapun hasil penelitian yang diperoleh pada tindakan siklus I yaitu ketuntasan belajar klasikal 50% dan daya serap klasikal 71,28%. Pada tindakan siklus II diperoleh ketuntasan belajar klasikal 89,74% dan daya serap klasikal 86,67%,. Hal ini berarti pembelajaran pada siklus II telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal minimal 80% dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa individu minimal 65%. Dengan demikian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahawa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode diskusi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran IPS di kelas IV SDN 12 Biau
Value and Practical Aspects of Accurate and Reliable Kick Detection during Connection and Steady Condition
Kick detection has a growing importance in the drilling industry, as it bothers safety of rig and rig personnel as well as the environment with huge financial loss. How early this well control incidence is being detected will be significant to preventing damages as such enables earlier control of the situation.
In this paper, focus is on kick detection using simulations of events at the surface circulation system with special emphasis on kicks taken during connection. An overview of kicks during connection is been presented. Discussed also were rig circulation system and how each component of the circulation system impacts on kick detection.
The simulation in this research paper was carried out with MatLab to study the dynamics of a changing pump rate in relationship to change in the surface measured volumes. A comparison to data gotten from the work of (D.P. McCann 1991) was made as well as using drilling data obtained from a well drilled in the Niger Delta. In order to make adjustments to the compared data the Adaptive Observer Program was used and also data smoothening was carried out on the data.
The simulation indicated the possibility of describing the volumetric changes of the circulatory system of a rig using basic programming. Thus, enabling elimination of such rig related volume changes
Penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Problem Solving untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa Kelas IV Sdn 163 Pekanbaru
This research was conducted because study result of IPS is still low in fourth grader SD Negeri 163 Pekanbaru. The KKM was determined at the school were: 73 out of 39 students, who reached KKM is 18 students (46.15%), the total number of students who have not reached KKM 21 people (53,84%) with the average is 59,92. This study aims to improve the study result of IPS in IV class SD Negeri 163 Pekanbaru with the implementation of problem solving learning method. Activity of teachers on the first cycle of the first meeting is about 65% in a good category and the second meeting is 75% in a good category. In the cycle II teacher activities increased from cycle I in cycle II first meeting with percentage of 85% very good category, teacher activities increased from cycle I is about 95% percentage with very good category. Student activity on first cycle of first meeting percentage is 60% in less category, and at second meeting percentage is 70% in good category. In the second cycle of student activities was increased in the first meeting percentage of 85% in very well category, and at the second meeting was 90% percentage with very good category. The result of the research got the average base scor score is 59,92 increase in cycle I equal to 15,32% average class 69,10. In cycle II the average class was also increased by 25.16% with classical mastery 75.00
Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Numbered Head Togather (Nht )untuk Meingkatkan Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas Ivb SD Negeri 011 Sidorejo Kecamatan Simpang Kanan
The problem this research internal issue is lowering him result of learning IPA class student of IV SDN 011 Sidorejo. With average value only 59,40. this Research target is to improve result learn with applying of model study of type co-operative of Numbered Head Togather ( NHT) executed at 27 March up to 14 April 2014 by 2 cycle. With students amount 25 people, 12 men student people and 13 woman student people, with KKM which have been determined by that is 70. Intrumen data collecting at this skrIPAi is teacher activity sheet, student activity sheet and result learn.. Activity learn in course of study at cycle of I at first meeting is 62,50% with good category mount counted 12,5% hence both meeting becoming 75,00% with good category. At cycle of II activity learn more mount at first meeting is 9,37% hence becoming 84,37% with good category very at both meeting more mount 6,25% becoming 90,62% with good category very. While cycle student activity of I first meeting is 56,25% with natural and enough category of improvement counted 9,37% both meeting becoming 65,62% with good category. At cycle of II first meeting experience of the make-up of counted 12,5% hence becoming 78,12% with natural and good category of improvement at both meeting that is 6,25% becoming 84,37% with good category very. Result learn which obtained from restating value before research with mean 59,40 at cycle of I mount became 69,20 and experience of the make-up of at cycle of II with mean 79,00 Pursuant to research result can be concluded that with applying of type co-operative modelpembelajaran of Numbered Head Togather(NHT) Dapat improve result learn IPA student of SDN 011 Sidorejo
Anger mood detection based on face recognition and heartbeat
Anger is one of the feeling that showing strong resentment that can be found in facial expressions, body language, physiological responses and at times in public acts of aggression. So, this project has designed to examine the existence of the individual nature of anger using facial expression and heartbeat. The objective of this project is to warn and help people to control their temper. This can prevent the bad effect towards heart rate, blood pressure, levels of adrenaline and noradrenalin and other physical effects. Matlab-Image-processing is used to analyze facial expressions while heartbeat is measured using a heartbeat detector circuit. The Graphic User Interface (GUI) indicates the angry face result while the Liquid Crystal Display states the faster heartbeat when a person is angry
Model Pembelajaran Berdasarkan Masalah untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPA Sekolah Dasar (Studi Eksperimen Kuasi Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 179 Pekanbaru)
One of factor that influence low students achievement that was students hard to understand in science subject. Students didn't understand the concept of the subject. That's why the author need to did the research by Problem Based Learning (PBL). This model be able to make student built their own knowledge, increase activity, increase the independent, systematic thinking, logic and accurate for acquire ability to solve the problem in a rational manner. The main purpose of this research was for identify increase student's achievement science between student who got Problem Based Learning (PBL) and student who got conventional learning. The research method used a quasi-experimental which divide 2 classes, experiment class and control class. This research was done in SDN 179 Pekanbaru between class Vb students as a control and class Vc students as a experiment. Data research was analyzed by Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with degree of freedom α = 0,05. The result of analysis data, in experiment class got average pretest 42,2 became 50,2 in a average posttest. and in the control class got average pretest 39,1 became 46,13 for average posttest. The result of this research showed that there was different average from both of classes but based on statistic there was no significant difference toward increase students achievement science between students who got Problem Based Learning (PBL) and students who got conventional learning
Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Inquiri Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas III Sdn 013 Basilam Baru
. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas III SDN 013 Basilam Baru melalui Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri dilakukan pada bulan Maret sampai dengan April. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas III SDN 013 Basilam Baru yang berjumlah 12 orang siswa. Parameter penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar siswa, aktivitas guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I rata – rata 74,5 (sedang) dan siklus II rata – rata 81,2 (tinggi), ketuntasan belajar siswa dari siklus I 50 % (tidak tuntas) , siklus II meningkat menjadi 83,3 % (tuntas). Aktivitas guru pada siklus I pertemuan pertama memperoleh persentase 37,5 % meningkat pada pertemuan kedua menjadi 54,2 %. Pada siklus II pertama meningkat 70,8 % dan peremuan kedua menjadi 87,5 %. Sedangkan aktvitas siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dimana pada siklus I pertemuan pertama 33,3 % meningkat pada pertemuan II menjadi 45,5 %. Siklus II pertemuan petama 70,8 % meningkat menjadi 83,3 %. Dari hasil penelitian ini bahwa Model Pembelajaran inkuiri dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas III SDN 013 Basilam Baru. Evaluation of cadmium bioaccumulation and translocation by Hopea odorata grown in a contaminated soil
Cadmium (Cd) contamination has an adverse effect on soil productivity and crop production. Phytoremediation is a long term and environmental friendly technology to remediate Cadmium polluted areas. This study was conducted to evaluate the potential of Hopea adorata for remediation of soils contaminated with Cd. Plant seedlings were planted in a clayey soil spiked contaminated with Cd in the amount of 0, 25, 50, 75, 100 and 150 mg kg-1 named as; Cd0, Cd1, Cd2, Cd3, Cd4 and Cd5 for a period of five months. The highest growth performance was recorded in the control (Cd0). Cd concentrations among plant parts were in the following trend: roots>stems>leaves. In order to evaluate the potential of species selected as phytoremediator, three indicators were used namely, bioconcentration factor (BCF, the metal concentration ratio of plant roots to soil), translocation factor (TF, the metal concentration ratio of plant shoots to roots) and removal efficiency (RE, total concentrations of metal and dry biomass of plants to total loaded metal in growth media). The highest total Cd concentration (290.23 ± 13.38 mg kg-1) and Cd removal efficiency (0.81± 0.06%) were found in Cd5 and Cd1, respectively. Cd2 exhibited the maximum total dry biomass (60.88 ± 1.78 g). H. odorata showed high BCFs (>1) and low TFs (<1). It can be concluded that this species is suitable to be used in phytoremediation of Cd-contaminated.
