    Decision Support System to Help in Determining the Study Program Concentration for Higher Education Institution

    The process of decision support for higher education institution to determine the concentration of study program becomes a significant problem because the student needs to analyse their interest, ability, and other factors as the qualification. A mistake in decision-making will be detrimental to the students’ education level, and it can even affect their future. This is a problem that occurs every semester, not only within the scope of the faculty but also in the university. Therefore, this research proposes a model to ease the higher education institution in determining a concentration of student using AHP and TOPSIS method. AHP method is a decision support system that can give weight on criteria of concentration and test its consistency. This method is to give weight for each criterion of student concentration majoring in Information System. TOPSIS method has a concept that the appropriate alternative has the shortest distance with a positive ideal solution and has the farthest distance with a negative ideal solution. Moreover, the criteria for choosing the concentration are multiple intelligences, GPA, course score, and TOEFL score. Weights obtained from AHP become the input value in the TOPSIS method in sorting the alternatives to be selected. Then, the result of the sorting is being calculated for its accuracy level. Based on the calculation of 93 sample of student’s concentration with AHP-TOPSIS method, 62 data are the same, so it results in the accuracy of 67%. An application with AHP-TOPSIS method can be used to help the university management in determining the concentration at Information System major for XYZ University

    In the past few years, many economies implement a social media-based digital supply chain management application for improving performance. However, there is problem regrading e-participation because of low level of participation by the public. The solution for improving public e-participation is by make a media for public do the e-participation, the media is social media-based digital supply chain management application. In fact, when a economy already implement the application, the participation is low. The purpose of this research is to identify factors that affecting behavior intention of public for do the e-participation using social media-based digital supply chain management application. In this research there are 203 social media-based digital supply chain management application users in Special Capital Region of Jakarta (Jakarta Aman application) that becoming research subject for evaluating the application for future development or references for other economy. The methodology approach for this study is based on combining many models such as Delon and McLean’s IS Success Model and TPB as the main model. Also combining external factors from existing studies that affecting attitude toward using the application. This paper can become references and contributing for making reader to understand more regrading people behavior for adopting social media-based digital supply chain management application to engage in e-participation. Social media can be an invaluable tool for supply chain professionals looking to identify new innovations, understand commodity and pricing trends, capture best practices, and collaborate with stakeholders, peers, and suppliers

    Crime still occurs in every region in Indonesia. Various classifications of crimes that occur and cause unrest for people in every region in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to analyze and visualize data on crimes that occur in every region in Indonesia so as to facilitate the Indonesian government in making decisions. The method used for this research is the clustering method. The clustering stage is carried out by grouping data on crimes that occur in Indonesia which are classified from each region. The results of the data that have been visualized show that the crime rate in each area is different according to the classification of crime, so it is necessary to increase security in each area that has a level of criminality data according to the classification of crime.
